I think this game is great as both a passively played game and an actively played game. I've played pretty solidly for close to a year (1 Month off of that now I believe) opening it to check on progress/switch around what I'm farming or what have you. It certainly allows for greater freedom once you get further into the mid game/late game. I'll say the dungeon fights are fair more nerve wrecking than they ought to be and I put them off a lot longer than I needed to. The community Wiki guides are very good for bridging the gaps you need to figure out the more in depth dungeons and farming methods. With the new expansion a day away for release, I'm very excited for more content to be added to the game and more of a grind to work through.

If you are in the slightest bit curious, like runescape/idle games you can periodically invest time into on your own schedule; this would be a game I recommend.
