I had a lot of fun with this. Art was really good, and I wouldn't mind seeing these writers behind more Sonic games.

TL;DR This game is fun and great for one playthrough, maybe two playthroughs. After that one playthrough, there really isn't any point at all in playing the game anymore, which is unfortunate for a sub-2 hour experience.

Actual review, with spoilers

This is a game that is targeted more towards people who are able to immerse themselves even in very static environments. There's a lot of effort put into building the tension, the dread, all the things the game claims. On that first playthrough it's very good at that. The oxygen levels were very good in that I wasn't sure if it was an actual timer or a scripted event and that put a lot of pressure on me - the thought of the sea monster, the oxygen level, the fires, the submarine imploding, the blood flooding into the sub - the game is excellent at taking all of these things and making you worry about a whole lot at once. Maybe not paranoia inducing, but certainly dread-inducing. Your encounters with the creature will give you a bit of a jump, and every strange and unusual sound will (initially) have you standing still for just a moment to see if things go away.

That said, if you're looking for replayability or a more dynamic experience, I wouldn't recommend this game to you. For one, my mention of the oxygen levels earlier - Yes they are completely scripted. Everything in this game is scripted. There's one creepy, unusual event that can occur that you might miss if you save the upper left spot for last like I did. Otherwise, there's no surprises after the first playthrough. Everything plays out almost exactly the same, nothing changes about the environment you personally are in or what you are doing. I do think that a lot of people are really overreacting to this problem in saying that the whole game sucks because of it, but it is nonetheless a bit of a problem and I do wish there was more.

Overall, if you're an old-fashioned, suspense-building, dread-wallowing horror fan looking for a more unique experience on Steam, I'd definitely recommend giving this game a try. It's short, but worth it for that final moment that sends chills down your spine. Just be prepared for the experience to end a lot sooner than you think.

Great game. A bit short (I beat it on my first playthrough in about 4 hours, though I did not collect everything yet) but a total blast to play with a good amount of challenge and plenty of room for creativity in taking down enemies.

An absolutely stellar game, both as a fighting game and as a Dragon Ball game. The plot isn't half-bad and the numerous dialogue between the various characters are extremely fun to listen to as a Dragon Ball fan. The music is awesome, if a little on the repetitive side since there are a lot of dialogue scenes in this game where you'll here one of a few tracks, but typically the action and the conversations are engaging enough for me to overlook it.

Goku and the entire DBZ cast look better than they ever have in any other video game, beating out even Xenoverse 2's graphics by a considerable margin in terms of proper homage to the designs within the franchise. The effects are gorgeous and there have to be dozens of little nods to the series within the roster, with most, if not all attacks, having appeared in the Dragon Ball manga/anime at one point or another.

The gameplay is super crisp and smooth. I don't have the chance to play fighting games often, FighterZ only being my second 'real' fighter, however, I still found much enjoyment in the game, even when I floundered around trying to figure out how to do some proper non-automatic combos. New players to the genre will have fun and will quickly pick up on the intricacies of the combat, whilst genre veterans will be able to pull off awesome combos where you can truly feel like you're a part of the Dragon Ball universe.

I have not tried the online component, so I will not comment on it quite yet.

Overall, 9.5/10. An absolutely amazing game that both fighting game fans and Dragon Ball fans will adore for a long time. Any fighting games coming out this year are going to have some seriously stiff competition from ArcSystem's Dragon Ball FighterZ. Don't pass this game up, or you will seriously be missing out.

I'd like to preface this by saying Killing Floor 2 is typically an excellent game and very fun. I have spent a lot of time playing it and for the most part, I have enjoyed when I was able to play it.

But, therein lies the issue; I am not able to play it all the time. With as much love as the devs put into this game, it's a shame that I can find launching issues for the game occurring over the course of years. Just now I had to wait 30 minutes total because Killing Floor 2 refused to launch until my third time opening the game, and it shortly crashed my computer entirely with a loud red screen as I was going about the main menu.

These are early access level issues. This game has been available to the public since April 2015 and the fact that I see guides for these singular sorts of issues is a little disheartening when so much love from the developers is put into it to make new content. Their drive is commendable, but when my computer can run games like Skyrim, Fallout 4, Alien: Isolation and Evolve at maximum settings and Killing Floor 2, which is far more friendly towards PCs not geared towards strong game support, has trouble launching, I find considerable reason to doubt that my system is the source of the issue.

I would be happy to switch my recommendation of this game to positive should some of these bugs be fixed. I know development is hard, takes money and takes time, but these are game-killing and computer-crashing bugs. They should be among the first issues dealt with.

If the game runs fine on your computer, that's great. You're in for a great experience; KF2 is a great game when it does work, but for me, it is more likely to give me a lot of frustration because I spend more time waiting to play.

A harrowing game that will make you cry as much as it will make you laugh.

Alien: Isolation may be a turnoff to players (more notably ones who aren't a fan of 'Alien') just entering the Survival/Horror genre, due to its enourmous campaign of high difficulty, intense, nerve-wracking suspense and occasional pants-ruining jumpscares. However, for Survival Horror veterans and Alien fans alike, Alien: Isolation is a visually beautiful, smoothly controlling, complex game that returns the franchise to a time when the notion of killing a single Alien was virtually impossible.
