The world and gameplay aren't interesting enough to hold attention through endgame.

You can't call it a mystery game if you color the mystery pink and force me to look at it before I can move on.

Several times I was denied the right to come to my own conclusions because the game hadn't got that far yet. It's frustrating to look at an object and have you avatar say "Hmm looks normal to me" when you've already realized it's not.

Most of the class trial mini-games are tedious because they were never fleshed out as actual parts of the game, they feel like they were tacked on. Even the one I enjoyed the most wore out it's welcome by last trial.

Even with all the updates the basic gameplay loop isn't entertaining enough to warrant paying for the game. If you can find friends that will play the game, you can squish a few more hours of messing with the cars and base building.

Is it a $15 game? Yeah probably. Definitely not a $30 game, and absolutely not a $60 game.

Okami is like a Zelda game except I care about the world and the people in it. Every person you talk to has something interesting and of value to say. The artstyle is different enough to catch your eye and fluid enough to draw you in. Your companion and voice Issun is grating and annoying but still manages to be endearing despite it all.

The game is a classic that performs and handles so wonderfully on PC I’d recommend whether you’ve played it before or not.
