Starfield, a galactic disappointment

"Nothing to love and almost nothing to like." Sounds harsh, right?

First off, the factions and quests are about as exciting as watching paint dry in zero gravity. If you're looking for rich RPG elements, you might want to play another game from the good old days. This doesn't have a soul at all.

Let's talk about those infamous engine limitations. Yes, the ones that have been discussed to death over the past year. Space travel? more like load field.

But wait, there's more! I decided to give Starfield another go, hoping maybe—just maybe—I'd missed something the first time around. Spoiler alert: I didn't. Launching the game crashed it. Classic Bethesda. After finally getting it to run, I discovered my saves wouldn't load. Why? Because of a new update that implemented paid mods. Yep, they actually found a way to make the game worse, while they keep pushing their money grabbing practices.

At this point, I'm terrified to see what The Elder Scrolls 6 will be like. Bethesda, this is your do-or-die moment. We’re all hoping for the former, but after Starfield, I’m preparing for the latter.

In conclusion, if Starfield was a spaceship, it would be a rickety, duct-taped mess that crashes before it even leaves the atmosphere, but you wouldn't even enjoy that because it would take place during a loading screen.

This total conversion mod was recommended by a friend of mine after our dissapointment of Cyber punk 2077. In contrast to 77 this game totally nails the RPG aspect IMO. The story is rich and has a lot of play style variety. It realy makes you care with its adult story and character writing. Enderal ofcourse has some flaws. Sureai had a challenging engine to work with and it sometimes shows. Espacially in the later stages of the game, crashes could accur every 30 min or so (worst case). Whilst the voice acting is top notch in storylines the radiant npcs are sometimes a hit or miss. The story has a lot of dark themes which in turn can be tough to keep you going at times. The final product however is nothing more than an amazing achievement. Its free if you have skyrim in your library, and earlier this year they brought it to special edition as well (might help with the stability). This game when rushed will be around the 25- 30h mark, but when played with al its side content you can easily spend 125+ hours on a single playthrough. A must have for RPG lovers.

awesome game, a must have in your game library. Great story and gameplay, rich world and HOURS of extremely well written sidequests.

side note: Although I have almost no bugs or performance issues, they probably had to delay the game again to get the kinks out of the game primarily for old gen consoles and low end pc builds.
