The only scary part of the game is the beginning where there aren't monsters, then they flood the level with monsters and it defeats the whole purpose of the backrooms.

It is a good game, the combat is decent, although zombie combat was better in DL1, the human combat is way way better in this. The parkour is the best parkour I've seen in any game, that includes Asses Creed. The story in my opinion is interesting enough to stay hooked, it certainly is better than the first DL, but its no Red Dead Redemption 2, The lack of guns is a good thing, in DL1 if you had an issue with an enemy you'd shoot him and kill him with no challenge, in this game every enemy is a challenge. The biggest issue about this game is the performance, i have an i7 10700, RTX 3080, 32gb of ram, and I run it on full ultra with minimal RTX and i average around 90 to 100 fps on 1080p. However, it seems the game doesnt use most of my CPU and GPU, and after playing awhile with the game running, there is a significant decrease in performance. There are times when I get 40fps looking at a certain area. I do wish there was a walk key on keyboard, but its not an issue. Overall I'd rate Dying Light 2 a 7.5/10, I enjoy the game alot, but I do wish the game wasn't a full RPG and also included alot of hack and slash from the first game, the ragdolls feel like a downgrade, but arent bad. If you want to purely kill some zombies and have fun, play DL1, if you want smooth parkour, a decent story, and a MASSIVE map with a ton of things to do and RPG elements, play DL2.

I recommend buying this on sale first off. I went into this game expecting some PC friendly Forza cheese, but I went in and was genuinely impressed when I saw that this isn't another zoomer racing gaming targeted towards kids. First off, there is LOTS of car customization, even down to the exhaust sound, which by the way, is AMAZING. The sound design in this game is the absolute best out of any game I've played, at least for the cars. The soundtrack on the other hand, is awful. Absolute god awful rap and mexican pop music clog up the sound on my headphones, so the natural course of action is to completely mute the in-game music, and either listen to your own playlist, or listen to the beautiful custom and unique sound of your car. I'm a muscle car guy, so naturally the first car I bought was a 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda. The muscle cars in this game (unlike Forza and many other games) aren't actually outclassed. You can modify the stock 440cu (or any stock motor in any car) completely, upgrading the crank, adding an expensive ECU, you can even put forced induction systems on your cars such as turbochargers and the different types of superchargers. This means that you can use the stock motor in a muscle car and completely wipe the competition. Obviously you aren't going to gap the fastest and beefiest cars in the game, but that doesn't mean you can't catch up. Oh and the story is completely forgettable like all Need for Speed games. The gameplay and racing is amazing.

Its a fun game to pass time, if you like cars, or just like to have a sense of pride doing something. The game keeps me entertained and the gameplay is very good. I only wish there was more to the game than just building the car. Such as, when you drive your car, it feels incredibly stale, and there is literally nothing to do except drive it in a parking lot, or check your 0-60 time. HOWEVER, I CANNOT recommend this game in the current state, because, like other reviews, the game is very VERY unoptimized. I used to run this game exceptionally well, and still do on ultra at around 120 fps, however, for some reason whenever I look at a car the game freezes for about 10 seconds, and will continue to do so in an interval of 4 seconds between freezes until I look away from the car. Unplayable.

My specs are GTX 1070 8gb vram
i7-7700 Kaby Lake @ 3.6 GHZ (boosted to 4 GHZ always)
16gb DDR4 ram @ 2400 MHZ
Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD

tl;dr
Game freezes every time you look at a car, for about 10 seconds. Unplayable.

Honestly, this game used to be great. But it's changed; this game used to feel like a real, casual, medieval swordfighting game. The community is almost as bad as a free to play game, good luck having any fun on any server, when no one joins, not even the official servers. The only servers with enough population to fill are the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ community servers with the same thing over, and over, and over again. There is no variety, there is no 'spice', nothing to keep me entertained except the fact of you can get right into the action and kill someone. After 900 hours, I wish this game turned out different. It no longer feels like a casual, fun, and exciting "chivalry" like game, but a game of people whining in chat, political debate, the same three gamemodes and the same few maps, the "competitive-only" aura of the game, and the fact that the developers update the game every 5 months doesn't add.
EDIT: After 1000 hours, this game sucks ass, it is an asset flip with voices from Unreal, and the developers dont give a ♥♥♥♥ about you or their game. Chivalry 2 is a way better experience, and is the medieval game to pick up.
