Surprisingly great game, which must have come out alongside big releases because it's not as well-known as it should be.

Sure, the infiltrating and defeating of foes in camps can become repetitive, but there is a lot to do in this wasteland.
The combat is crunchy and satisfying and the upgrades to Max and the Magnum Opus are worthwhile.
There are some noticeable glitches, but nothing game breaking, and the last 10 hours in particular has some really good cutscenes in them.

A bargain price for a sandbox game.

Would not recommend.

The online servers are just awful, prepare to be disconnected every 30-40 minutes, and the gameplay you do get into is slow and laggy. Graphics have not stood the test of time.

Asked for a refund, which was rejected as apparently I've clocked up 5 hours of play time (more than 2 hours means you can't get a refund regardless of the issues experienced) - not one of which was continuous due to being chucked out constantly. Great policy Steam, way to show reason...

A fantastic game. Fairly priced from the launch and made by (seemingly) very good developers with integrity.

The game does justice to the Norse understanding of Germanic mythology and promotes an interest in helping tackle mental health issues and disorders. The combat is fun and fluid with some challenging puzzles to solve.

"I heard that Witchers wear two swords, one for monsters and one for humans. - You're wrong, both are for monsters"
-Andrzej Sapkowski"

This is the greatest game that ever was, and perhaps for some time ever will be.

Graphically infallible, inherently story driven with believable and deep characters, and with very good game play. The music is absorbing and fitting, the monsters and races truly diverse. This is how you make an RPG, this is how you make a story focussed game, and what is more CD Projekt Red are loyal to their fanbase, they listen to us and reject any notion of "pay to win", and this is why years after its release the game is still winning awards.

I have clocked up 166 hours having just completed the main story and having done dozens and dozens of side quests. However, I also ignored dozens and dozens of other side quests, which would mean you could clock up well over 200 hours from the base game alone. I'll be starting the DLCs which gives me at least another 50+ hours of game time. This game is worth £50 easy, yet you can pick all of it up for £13.99 in a sale. Absolute bargain.

Geralt's, story across this trilogy has defined what great gaming looks like, with characters (both good and bad) that have meaningfully shaped the world he lives in. The choices you make along his path are equally as meaningful.

While no game is without its faults, the faults in the Witcher 3 (horse mechanics for example) are so minor that they don't deserve to topple the 10/10 rating I gave, for this game is as close to perfection as any game developers could hope to achieve, and any gamer could hope to play.

A wonderful game, every bit the successor and better of the first game.
It has made me want to read the books.

"The extraordinary is in what we do, not who we are."

ROTR explores Lara's, back story and her initial dealings with "Trinity", the ending leaves us poised for more stories in her search to find out what really happended to her father.

The game is excellent, at least as good Tomb Raider (2013), and with some clear game play improvements.
The environments as ever are immersive, and the story interesting, made better by believable characters.

The theme song is beautiful and fits well with the story.
Well worth the money advertised.

Excellent game.
Probably the second best horror I have ever played, being nearly on par with "The Suffering" on the original Xbox.

This game has all that you would want from a psychological horror: great graphics, collectibles, notes that expand the story, customisable weapons, and interesting characters with a back-story.

The scenery really is immersive, but the best bit is probably the enemies that are so varied in apprearance and nature, causing your heart to beat rapidly in certain fights.

In great horrors like this, sometimes the only option is to run. Many enemies will overpower you and so you need to be versatile in your approach to the game.

I've clocked 26 hours, and I still have the Season Pass (three DLCs) to play. Considering I bought this foir less than £8, it's an absolute bargain.

8.8/10.

An underrated gem.

Specs Ops the Line, will present you with choices and events that are a horrifying reality for many servicemen.
The story is gritty and and surprisingly psychological.

Running in to, and out of, cover can be buggy and frustrating at times, but overal the combat is thrilling and engaging.
If you play on hard setting, you will die a lot as the enemies are a challenge to overcome, particularly towards the end.

This game is worth the price of COD, yet sold for a fraction of many of COD's titles. It's a bargain in a sale.

"As you can see, Booker, the inmates run the asylum."

Four years on from its release this game is still a gem, proving to be a pyschological thriller with mystifying twists and turns.

While some of the game does lag and is noticeably boring in parts, the eventual tying of the story in of itself, and to the Bioshock franchise as a whole, is thoroughly well thought out and expertly crafted.

Bioshock unlike most other games allows players the freedom and diversity of a well equiped arsenal that can be upgraded, leading to you changing your approach in dealing with different foes.

The graphics are beautiful and not at all dated; while the textures and lighting are also superb.

The game feels easier than Bioshock 1 and 2 and, Elizabeth, plays her part in this by routinely finding you ammo and coins to stock up on. That said the final fights of the game are much more challenging.

If you pay £10 or under for this game you've found yourself a bargain.

9.2/10.

"If it's hostile, you kill it."

This is a great psychological horror, survivial and FPS game, which has elements that remind you of - The Book of Eli, The Road, and even a bit of Fallout.

Playing on Survival (and Ranger) mode, makes the game a lot harder, as you find your filters and ammo quickly used up, and replacements harder to find.

There isn't a great diversity of enemies, but they are all noticeably different from one another, which will lead you to changing your approach to dealing with them.

While, Artyom, never speaks in dialogue, you do become attached to him through the Metro journal entries you find (and which are worth collecting to expand on the story).

The ending is strange, and not quite as good as the rest of the game, but it does have an original piece to it.
