Most of the reviews for this game where made by people on consoles trashing on the fact that the game was a port and that it had harder problems at matchmaking players for hunts. One way to ensure you don't get those is to make private lobbies and just play with friends. No friends? No problem, you can fire off a SoS signal that people will come and help you. Though, if your internet is crappy or are running solely of wireless, maybe get used to the solo life. Other than that, the game has a lot of content being dropped for absolutely no monetary price. Iceborne, the only dlc for now, will offer substantial content with no other price added. Having hundreds of hours on pc and I have never regretted this purchase. There's a pletora of weapons usable and all of them offer quality gameplay. There is something for everyone. Wanna face the monsters head on and test your guts? Hammer! Wanna play a shooter? Light bowgun! Wanna dash like crazy to dodge attacks and cartwheel on long monsters? Dual blades!
There is so much to this games that my mere number of hours is almost an understatement of how long you can play it for.
