I don't want to offend anyone, but Islam is the religion of Peace, and Allah is known as the All-Loving and the Merciful. Do not let violent men lead you astray. Do not think for one moment that Islam is about killing, it is about giving life. When you get down on your knees to pray, when you keep the temptation of food at bay during the Ramadan, when you sacifice, you do NOT serve a ruthless, cruel, violent God but you serve the Giver of All Life in one of His guises. Allah calls you to success and calls you away from the temptations of earthly tyrants. Look in your heart for Allah and you will find Him all around you. Your weapons are your heart and mind, your faith, your hope and the Love that Allah gave you. Use them wisely. Hate the sin, not the sinner.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Rick’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick’s existential catchphrase “Wubba Lubba Dub Dub,”
