Of all the telltale games, this one is most definitely the strongest, right up with "TWD - Season 1"

The humor and story in itself make up for the "telltale tool" hiccups.

Slightly more replay value, as a few major choices (looking at the final choice in 2) make scenes in the rest of the eps. play out differently.

Don't be fooled though, story is relatively the same regardless of the choices you make, but at least it feels more personalized and unique this time around.

Go for it when it's on sale.

Had a lot of promise, especially after the Wrap Up of Season 1.

Standard Telltale fare: not as powerful or as good as the first, but if you want closure, get it when it's on sale.

Do I Borderlands 2?

I dabble.

You should too. Save yourself the trouble, and go with goty edition.

Telltale Games' TWD is fantastic, memorable ride, though it caters to a more specific audience.

TWD's main emphasis is Story and Characters. This is where the game excels. Lee and Clementine truly shine as compelling characters: more human and sympathetic then most characters in any medium of storytelling. The game's fast paced emphasis on choice and "choose-your-own-adventure" style of storytelling make for a unique experience with each individual player. And TWD keeps getting better with each segment as players see their past choices come to fruition or ruin. The choices get more tough, the story more complex, and the game won't let you go until the very end.

The story is so grand that it tends to take first priority over the point and click style gameplay. Puzzles aren't too complicated, and aren't meant to be. Action sequences are mainly single button mashers or shaking of the mouse. Gameplay for TWD works fine for the most part, but it isn't something you'll remember too often...except for wondering how on earth can Lee fit so many things into his back pocket!

Graphics are excellently pulled off. TWD game pays tribute to its comic book origins with a graphic novel styled look. One that, while slightly cartoon-y at times, fits rather well for the subject matter.

If I were to have any complaints with this game, it would be only....
...that the game has a few technical hiccups that can take the player out of the moment.
...and that it isn't really replayable. While it's interesting to see what might've happened if one had picked choice "A" rather than "B" the player will soon discover that major events still unfold almost the exact same way. This is true of small moments (whether to or not you choose to shoot a bird, it still flies off) or big moments (regardless of whether or not you let a certain character live or die that specific character inevitably dies) making some choices seem almost pointless in the grand scheme of Lee's and Clementine's journey.

Still, if you want a gripping experience and story unlike nearly anything else, get The Walking Dead.
