I recommend only because it is getting harder to play the Titans, or Extended Edition on more modern software. It's fairly faithful to the original, although I am personally displeased that it isn't just 1:1 in every regards. The HD graphics can make things look muddy at times, and most of the models look like action figures, rather than real characters, they look like they're made out of plastic. The animations (ones not ported from the OG) are kind of lame, and lack the same impact from the OG.

Feels like a strong improvement over the first, but whatever it has going for it quickly runs aground with constant halting of plot progression for series' of smaller subquests that 90% of the time are a group of various fetch quests. The city building is a novel concept, but it just doesn't hold my attention. Cutscenes with voice acting and non canned animations get rarer as you progress -- because there's so much filler anyway, who would bother?

Unfortunately, Ni no Kuni just doesn't stick its landings. Can't say I recommend in the long run.

It's fine. It's really MOSTLY the setting that appeals to me so strongly. Story and characters are *fine*, it's really the fake RPG that makes my ass burn. Just play it on the "easy" settings so combat engagements don't last a century, and you'll probably have a decent enough time.

Just another entry into the AC franchises long list of "has 0 relevancy in pop culture after 5 months" games. Yeah, play it if you want, I guess.

Made by the lords of RTS, Ensemble Studios, this version is a PC port of the original Xbox 360 version of the game. As a result, Wars is a pretty stripped down game, compared to most PC RTS games. That being said, what makes Wars special is ES' trademarked incredible attention to detail, and its extremely high sense of game balance.

The PC port itself is decent enough, although the original micro mechanics have been slightly altered, and box dragging is very, very sluggish.

Definitely a classic title, and Microsoft should still be ashamed of themselves for ever disbanding Ensemble.

Don't listen to the pea brains that complain that the game "doesn't instruct you well enough", or that it's boring and nonsensical. While not perfection, Do No Feed the Monkeys is an extremely rewarding, short game, that gives some demands of the player.
While it can be a bit difficult to make it all the way through, getting all the way through is the only TRUE goal; do whatever you have to do to get there. After you learn how the game works, it becomes all the more interesting to see how all of the other cages play out based on your influences.

Very, very fun, and really not as complex as it initially seems.

Pretty great port of the PS2's FF swan song title. XII has one of the strongest narratives in a Final Fantasy game to date, and its gameplay is still a fun active battle experience. I haven't played the original PS2 title in a very, very long time, so I don't recall to all of its visual fidelity. The Remaster Port feels as though many of its textures have been possibly AI upscaled. Either way, many of the textures look gritty, and unusual. The voice acting was also not taken from its original high quality, which makes cutscenes suffer. It also performs quite poorly on lower-end PC's, clearly suffering from optimization issues.

Overall, FF12 has aged very well. Gambit system allows you to effectively micromanage fights, the story and characters are highly engaging, and the setting is pretty original for most fantasy RPG's.

A very simple city building/farm sim game that's very easy to enjoy. It has some creative lore that I wish got explored more in meaningful ways (i.e not books, and more character interactions). It's lack of depth makes its gameplay loop very relaxing and non frustrating, but it means it has 0 replay value. You will play this game until you deem it "completed", either by 100% or until you're satisfied with it.

I would very much cherish seeing more take place in this world's setting, but I doubt this game will get updated anymore (mod support would be amazing). I hope a sequel, or some other game releases taking place in this franchise's continuity. Had a good time, would actually recommend.

I am currently in the midst of really trying to finish this game's main storyline, but unfortunately, Ni No Kuni is all style, and no substance. This game suffers from dreadfully slow pacing, and at times, rather odd difficulty spikes. It falls into many NES era JRPG pitfalls; and it comes at the expense of the player. Terrible party AI, and slow battles constantly test my patience. Segmented open world that feels unnatural and constantly only pushes the player in the plot direction.
On the topic of style, I find it quite insulting that this game makes its name off the coattails of Ghibli's style. For a 60-some hour RPG story, there's only about 18 minutes of sequences brought into full motion animation by the fabled studio. About 11~ minutes of those 18 are in the first 2 hours of story; after that -- we're all sold out! Other than it's music being handled by someone associated with the Ghibli name, the art style is a fairly generic cartoony cel-shade.

Do NOT let these hack-frauds lure you in by their attempt to mimic the art and stories of a vastly superior studio.

I could go on for hours about how Cyberpunk is buggy, and messy, but you already know that. If you think that underneath all the problems is a vast narrative undertaking, you'd also be wrong; and this is where my hard dislike of CP comes from.
The narrative of CP uses none of the setting to its advantage, it might as well take place in modern day, as there's nothing in its story that effectively uses the cyberpunk backdrop. I have a strong impression that nobody at CDPR has actually lived in a metropolitan city, or ever actually researched modern politics to understand how these things may have evolved in the future. This all culminates into a story that has some absolutely terrible pacing, and very, VERY boring character exchanges. Games like this want to be edgy and political and say stuff about modern society's direction; but then ♥♥♥♥♥ out without ever really talking about any problems that might come off as a "hot take". The game lacks a serious amount of interactivity that it constantly touts, all with a story with 0 satisfying payoff. I'm sure many will try to excuse CP as being a "Dark" narrative, but the word they're actually searching for is "unsatisfying". I attempted to sink a very heavy amount of hours searching for anything interesting to talk about with CP, but its strongest moment was probably a side quest about an AI that fragments personalities.
CDPR can spend years patching this game, but unfortunately, they'll be polishing a story driven RPG with basically no actual story. honestly, just start over and make a new game at this point.

TL;DR - Cyberpunk 2077 has the writing and gameplay consistency of a bad Fallout 4 mod.
