My thoughts on single player.

I've only played the single player so far so can only comment on that.
It took me 8 Hours to finish, I didn't rush but I also didn't linger looking for data pads etc.
I really enjoyed the story, it didn't do anything ground breaking but it did what it wanted to set out to do well.
The second half of the story changes things up to keep it feeling fresh.

The game ran very very well, no stutters or low FPS, all on max, no DLSS @1080p (monitor max)

Overall I felt the main story could have been a bit longer but there are operations which are missions that run parallel to the main story, which I'm looking forward to trying.

Will update once I've spent some time on the other modes.

Well EA's attempt at a WRC game has had a rough start.
Dirt 2.0 released in 2019 provides a better WRC experience.
The bones of the game are good, but it has too many issues for me to recommend.
I've uninstalled the game, if the many issues are fixed in the future I may go back.

The recent update seems to have broken the game for many people.

The addition of the kernel level anti cheat broke the game for steam deck/linux users.
I personally don't really care about the kernel level anti cheat but I do have a problem with it being added months after release and effectively making it unplayable for certain users

I was excited for the VR mode to be added but it runs so badly its unplayable.

It's a real shame this hasn't turned out to be the game it could have been.

Don't buy for full price, wait for a deep deep sale, and maybe hold off for a few more patches and see what they fix.

Really good game, most of the connection issues are now sorted.
I earned enough in game premium currency to buy the battle pass in 20 hours of game play, I usually hate micro transactions and battle passes but this seems very fair.
It really captures the spirit of the first game, so if you enjoyed that you will like this.

TLDR; One of the best sims available. Don't use the Demo it's not representative of the game now, use steam's refund policy to find out if you like it.

Graphics: 8/10, It's a very good looking Sim, I would say the only better looking sim would be Assetto Corsa Competizione.

VR Performance: 9/10, On my system, RTX3070 with Pico 4 it's the best performing VR sim experience I've had.

Multiplayer 8/10, with a group of people you know it can be hugely fun.

Realism 8/10, use custom force feedback files from race department makes a huge difference to the feel of the cars.

AI 6/10, This really needs work, some classes and tracks are great, others the AI are brain dead, be sure to play around with AI skill and aggression for each class of car and track.

Content 8/10, It has a wide selection of free content and all of the DLC is AAA quality, especially if you can get it when its discounted.

Single player 7/10, it has custom championships, time trials and single races, hopefully in the future Reiza will add a career mode, For now you can use and external app called racing life (on race department) to simulate a career.

Thanks for the free weekend you saved me £15.
In a word Boring.
Feels like the barebones of an RTS, Graphics are meh, units are bland, I expected better from Blackbird.
Play it for the free weekend then never touch it again.

It really is a great game!

Everybody needs to buy this game so we get more in the future and maybe EA/Maxis will take notice and up there game or just die off.
This is such a great game, there are a few things missing like terraforming and disasters but it makes up for it in every other way. And im sure they will get patched in as its been such a success!

Really nice little game. Lacking in content at the moment (cities and sound) but apart from that its really worth the money. Its an easy to play hard to master puzzle/sim that gets better with every update.
