When Wolcen first released, I never got past the first mission due to having a friend interrupt me to do something else, so I can't talk about where the game was on release. I will say however that in reading a lot of the reviews from months ago that I do not feel the game breaking issues are that were reported are in the game today. I've had a blast learning the game's mechanics, experimenting with build types, and I've enjoyed the relatively complex balancing of the numerous stats to make a character both formidable and destructive.

With all that said, the game still definitely has bugs - character stuck in terrain, dying in maps and returning to town with body disappeared and requiring an exit to menu, and other small ones. Even then, with the dev's updates both to the game and their audience I am confident these issues will be fixed and leave a very polished game.

Lastly, the campaign may not be finished. It was disappointing when I saw the cliffhanger of a cutscene ending act 3 because, surprisingly, this game actually has a really good story that was fun to follow! Definitely not something I'm used to in an ARPG. But at the end of the day, it's an ARPG, and the only part that really matters is killing lots of monsters very quickly and receiving lots and lots of loot. So I've been having a lot of fun in the end game waiting for an act 4 to release.

I am very glad I supported this game while it was in beta, and I'm looking forward to see what the future has in store!
