Beatiful graphics, decent story and fantastic worldbuilding.

But the combat is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring. If you choose to play as an assassin and get tasked with taking out a fort for example, you sneak up on people for around 10 minutes, press F, if anybody sees you, jump in a bush wait a minute and repeat.

You're also forced into one to one combat as an assassin, which you'll fail miserably if you haven't also built into the warrior tree, and you'll probably have to reset all your skill points and go for another build if you didn't do that. The warrior combat isn't good either, it's just clunky af. People fly everywhere because of nothing. The most fun I've had with this game was probably the first 2 hours of it when I just tried figuring out combat.

If you forgot to make checkpoints at the beginning, you have to travel by ship for ages just to set checkpoints. Why can't you just fast travel to every major city? Why feel the need to include that? For some stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bird animation? Also because of the bird thing, you don't have to use your brain anymore, as you can see everyone through walls. Not that you had to earlier, tbh.


Side quests aren't actually side quests because after a while you're FORCED to do them to be able to progress, as the main storlylines quests aren't actually enough for you to keep on progressing. That's so you'll buy their stupid XP booster so you don't have to do boring side quests.

It also barely has anything to do with assassins creed, just make another standalone game lmao

I also wanted to see where this story got to. It was honestly pretty interesting. I was used to being a bit underleveled, as most of the the side quests are really boring and bland, but then all of a sudden I was 6 levels down.
The grinding also scales, but only upwards. So I was forced to do a bunch of forts for XP. Forts are legit the same thing over and over, you have to be a ninja and kill almost the whole fort, and then finally kill the commander. If you don't kill every single one, they'll just swarm you and you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if you're not going into the warrior tree. The only way to kill the commander as an assassin is either one shot him, or get him to half health then parry good enough.

honestly i dont even know what thsi reveiw is but just dont buy this game
