It's like playing D&D except the story is written for you, you have less options, and the story isnt that good. Can't really recommend.

Eh, had potential but fell a bit short imo. First chapter was alright, but then it started to run out of steam as it progressed. I wouldn't recommend picking it up for that reason, it'll just let you down later. Go play the original Space Quest and King's Quest games on SCUMMVM, those are still great and have aged like a fine wine. These games though? They aged like milk

You should probably just have this game in your library even if you don't intend to play it right now. But it on your 8TB hard drive that you just put everything on. Because sometime, someday, you're gonna play it with somebody for some reason, and you'll need to have it ready to go, even if that's the only time you'll ever play it.

Quirky little game, I think I'd recommend. The narrator is great and thoroughly upstanding fellow. The game itself is sort of a meta commentary on narration, game design, and choice. If you are an aspiring writer, game designer, or storyteller, this game will be interesting to you.

Don't play any of the walking dead games beyond the first in my opinion. They just get worse as the series goes on

Elitists might say that this is the proper way to experience the Thief franchise, and there are many staple memes that have emerged from this game. Namely the guy who talks about the bear pits in the beginning, but beyond that, I don't think the game has aged particularly well. It was one of the first stealth games of its kind, but the mechanics that were innovative at the time such as "what material you walk on" determining how quiet you are, are not impressive anymore. The game is clunky, outdated, and did not stand the test of time. The newer games in the franchise are a bit too cookie cutter, so overall, just avoid. Look into playing the second game possibly, but there's really nothing here for you unless you're a diehard thief fan.

Jokes aside though, I still would recommend it. The story and the moral choices are engaging, complicated, and make you struggle to understand what is the right thing to do. You probably won't enjoy the game if you are averse to the "young adult" genre.. The game does have plenty of darker shades, but it still feels a bit dorky to play as max
