Terraria is one of those rare pearls, you can be very fortunate to find in the vast ocean of games. It is charming, fun, challenging, multi-player friendly, immersive and random as hell.

To start of with, you can choose how you want to play the game. If you're the type that just like to build, explore and occationally try a boss, you can choose the easymode and no penalty death options.

If you like me, love a challenge, a rough start, boss fights that makes the sweat run down your forehead, then you can choose hardmode, which not only makes the game extremely challenging, but also super fun.

Talking about the randomness, as you progress in the game, you never know when a solar eclipse, will spawn all the monsters from your nightmares, that will swarm your little village, having you and your NPC's fighting for your lives.

Sometimes a little drone will come flying, show a few colours only to leave again in a mere moment, which result in a huge alien invasion, with UFO deathrays, beamguns, strange aliens jumping, exploding and running.

Maybe the pirates will come around, to try and steal your treasures, with flying ships, cannons, parots and everything else that belongs.

There are tons and tons of items, secrets and stuff to explore in the randomized world, that changes every single time you start a new playthrough. And trust me, if you pick a huge map, you will have HOURS upon HOURS to explore, dig your way down to the pits of hell, if you can manage to get through the desert, snowden, mines, ruins, jungles, oceans, underground shroombiomes etc.
The items are so much fun and inventive. Everything from the famous portal gun, to swords shooting rainbows, miniguns, explosives of every kind, mounts to ride, wings to make you fly, the secrets of the sky-islands....

I could literally write so much good about this game. It has given my hundreds of hours and I still have many more to go.
