I've played enough of this game that I don't mind dropping another 5$ whatsoever. Keep it up devs.

While slay the spire is something I could play by sitting down for half an hour, it doesn't really feel that way for this game, and I think it's better for it. Overall, it has more interesting card mechanics, more and more diverse build paths for cards, and a much more interesting map with many different events and quests. Considering the diversity I've seen so far, and having a peek at some of the achievements, I can only guess it will take at least a few hundred hours to have seen all the different event combinations and outcomes.

The only real downside I could think of is that the equipment system is overall less interesting in across the obelisk. Most of the effects are very basic "+1 type damage/healing/resistance" items. Slay the spire relics are a lot more varied. Also replacing my "+1 fire damage" wand for a "+2 fire damage" wand doesn't feel very satisfying. The ever increasing stacks of relics in slay the spire feels much more rewarding since it doesn't take anything away when you get something new.

Overall, I like this game a lot, would recommend.

Fan of card games, and this is a very good one. What's not to like?

A fantastic survival game with some of the best atmosphere i've ever seen in a video game period. I come back every once in a while and there's always something new interesting enough for me to hop back in and give it another go. Well worth the price.

The best VR rhythm game by a country mile. Thousands of custom songs with more being added constantly. Time for you osufags to get off your fat asses and embrace the future. And don't worry; osufags are alive and well in this game's mapping community. Railgun, Fate, Caramelldansen.. Whatever your heart desires, my friends.

The only game of it's kind in existence. Big sprawling fights feel like some cutscene from call of duty except they're actually real, controlled by real players. On a scale not even battlefield or similar titles can manage. This game is attracting more players than it has in years. We've hit 5000 peak players (on steam, which is not the whole story) which is the first time in 2 years. A large expansion is coming with proper EVE online-sized spaceships, aircraft carriers of sorts. The battles are only bound to get more epic. And this game becomes better the more people play it, so i hope you'll join us too.

If you're a weeb, you might not like the chinese vocals, and there are a good amount of them. It personally bothers me quite a bit so i don't play them, still ♥♥♥♥ loads of non chinese songs, and even songs so good i added them to my everyday music playlists. I think there are a number of artists that make songs specifically for this game (?) and i had never heard of them before, they make some really great music. From a purely objective standpoint now, this is a great game. Songs have a good beat, mechanics are simple enough, it's just a rhythm game. I think most people know whether or not they'd enjoy such a thing. If you don't, then this is cheap and newcomer friendly, so give it a go.

Basically a better chivalry. Worth a shot if you enjoyed that. There is balancing to be done and bugs/glitches to be fixed but overall a fairly polished experience.

New piracy mode is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥, completely factually inaccurate statement. ''Drastic loss of sale due to pirates'' ''You will likely go bankrupt'' Are some of the biggest lies and gross overexaggerations of piracy i have ever heard. Piracy doesn't just take away from sales, some people will play it for free even though they never would have bought your product, and some people will buy your product because they were able to try it for free. Ignoring that last factor, sure it will take away from sales, but the idea that it causes SEVERELY lower sales is just a disgrace and a throwaway political statement from these devs who have clearly picked a side.

If you use your game as a political statement, there are people who will disagree solely on the basis of principal.

Game is rather one-dimensional and repetitive as well, so i wouldn't have given it a positive review even without this whole piracy gamemode nonsense.
