Besides an awful first few weeks. Where finding a match took ages, crashes happened often, and invincible bots wrecked your team. The matches you got where fun and entertaining.

After the last update a lot of the most common and worst issues vanished, specifically the issues with match making. The game when it works plays great. It is entertaining and unique allowing for individuals to shine while letting organized teams to systematically do well. I do believe the issues are really on the sunset of existing now, and that new life needs to be breathed into the game with either better marketing or something to try and get more people to see this game. But that isn't something that may happen. If the game polishes the last of bugs I'd be happy and content.

Overall if you have the chance I'd say pick it up if this type of game is your thing.

I have never had the pleasure of playing a more complete and amazingly fun game. These developers are exactly what was needed for a wake up call for the industry and showed that true dedication, drive, and love can make a wonderful, exciting and entertaining experience. They mastered the feeling a lot of people have been looking for with games like Call of Duty and Battlefield have been missing for YEARS.

Not only did they release a game that had the same energy and feeling that has been missing from many titles. They exceeded them in their entirety all while ensuring and working to get this game to run on any PC at a price point anyone can afford. They STRIVE to make the game affordable and not lock anything behind malicious paywalls or awful battlepasses/lootboxes.

They made a game for the person who wants to play the game. Not for profits. This is by far the best game I played as of late and has scratched every itch I have had for shooters since I started playing shooters. If you can grab this game. Get your friends together. And have fun. Best game of 2023.

I can't stress this enough. This game is niche and requires some practice and research. It is not for everyone. It may not be for you. There are better methods to play this game, in either VR or with a Flight Stick is very fun and probably the best ways to play this game. These are expensive options, so they aren't available to everyone.

However, it is absolutely beautiful and a lot of fun to play. If you prefer PVE there is the campaign which at times can be difficult. PVP however is where this game thrives, whether you play Ranked or Dogfight. Both modes are incredible. Dogfight is just TDM and works great for warming up and quick fun. The Ranked has depth and has a lot to it besides just blow up the other team, and teamwork along with individual skill matters. The community is welcoming and really enjoys the game hosting events from time to time. Killing someone is satisfying and is rewarding to win a dog fight.

I have played this game on M&K, Controller, and my preferred method, on a flight stick. All feel good and work well. My only issue is most of my friends can't run it. I would sink a lot more time into this game, however with no friends in the game and not a lot of time on my hands anyways I haven't put the time I usually would into a game I enjoy.

To wrap this up. This game won't be for you if you aren't that interested in sims/flight games. It is star wars. Yes this franchise is popular. Yet this isn't like battlefront where anyone can pick it up and play. It will take some time to adjust and get into. Though if that is your type of game, this is it for you.

I have never played a game where I just lost time. I bought the game like two days ago at the time of the review and haven't been able to put it down.
