The big value is in the nostalgia for MegaMan X. For fans, it will be a great trip, but it is likely not for everyone.

An enjoyable match-3 with a fun theme and roguelite progression systems.

A unique premise, and lots of potential good times. Unfortunately the developers really don't care about your enjoyment of the game, and continuously patch out the fun. In it's current state, you might get to enjoy your experience 10%~ish of the time, with the remainder being a boring, unfun, tedious experience.
Players that have been around for a long time are only here because we got stuck in, and are holding hope that the devs make the experience enjoyable again. Until then, Stay as far away from this game as you can.

A wonderful throwback to my childhood. Worth every penny. All the haters have simply forgotten how the original played. I for one, am super glad that all of the experience from the original, both good and bad, has been brought to this remake. I've never seen a dev put so much deliberate effort into perfectly recreating a classic with a modern flash. It's nostalgia in it's purest undiluted form, and I love it.

PROTIP: Japanese language, english subs (Not a terribly high actor budget on English apparently)
DEV TIP: Fix the crashes/bugs as soon as reasonably possible. Turns a lot of people off, even though we all know modern games always need patched. At least it isn't Nier: Automata levels. (I will ignore them for now since it is so close to launch)
