The game is not without it's share of bugs but I haven't had anything game breaking yet, plus I hope most will be squashed in the future. What's here already though is an excellent RPG with excellent combat, great graphics, good story and TONS of realism that I really enjoy. Great jobs devs.

I must say I’m quite impressed! I like VR archery games and have quite a few hours in QuiVR, Holopoint, and Twisted Arrow. After 3 runs I must say In Death well deserves attention of anyone who enjoys VR bow games.

The game looks gorgeous. Environments are beautiful, enemies look detailed and realistic, the music score is excellent as well. This is likely the most polished Early Access game I’ve played yet.

The game uses procedural maps to give you a new map each run which certainly helps replayability. After death you earn achievements which both improve your abilities and make enemies stronger to maintain a great challenge. This is one leaderboard I want to climb on for sure.

You can find or buy special arrows that set enemies on fire/freeze them/shoot multiple arrows and such. You can block arrow shots/melee hits with a shield. I’d love to see a shortsword added for when an enemy gets in your face.

I generally am not a fan of teleport games and much prefer artificial locomotion. The good news is artificial locomotion is available in the settings and works well enough though it’s s bit slow for my taste for game balance reasons I imagine. For my first run I went ahead and tried the default movement scheme to experience the game the way developers intended. After 5 minutes I was very comfortable with it and after 10 it felt like second nature. The way it works is when you pull on your bowstring with trigger you shoot a regular arrow as you’d expect. When you pull on the bowstring with touchpad (on your non-bow hand) you instead shoot a teleport arrow. It’s extremely fluid and works well. If you press the non-bow hand touchpad away from the bowstring you can throw a teleport dagger instead. If you turn on artificial movement you keep both teleport abilities so you can combine all 3 to your heart’s content. That’s my preferred way now.

After my first death the game only got better as new enemies made it even more challenging on the next runs.

Overall I’m very impressed. This could easily be released as a finished product but since devs want to keep adding content that’s even better. Can’t wait to jump back on tonight.

The Nest was a promising single player sniper title when it came out... now it's a dead multiplayer game. I wish the devs stuck to what they said their plan was in the EA disclosures - single player sniper game with additional levels.

You know what you're getting - entire Fallout 4 in VR. After the initial blur bug was fixed, I can heartily recommend this game. Could the VR implementation be done better? Sure... however this is simply a magical experience in VR. There's absolutely nothing else like it available right now. I've never played the flat version and I intentionally stayed away from knowing anything about it. I'm having a total blast discovering this universe in VR.

I've been waiting for a PUBG-type game in VR for quite a while and here it is. A number of people are criticizing the devs for taking too much from PUBG but I have no beef with that - imitation is the sincerest form of flattery after all.

The game itself just came out but even in the early EA stage it's a total blast for me - large map, great graphics (for a VR game), tons of guns, vehicles, solid number of players already (and good bots available just in case), climbing, stealing guns from people etc. I'm very glad to have a game where I don't depend on a team to have a good time.

Just had an amazing moment in the game that prompted me to write this review - I parachuted down to a cluster of buildings, checked two of them and didn't find a gun in either one. From the second story I noticed that an armed player was walking into my building and he saw me and took a shot. I stepped away from the window and heard him enter the house. I jumped out of the window and quickly ran into the house. The other player was slowly walking toward the 2nd story stairs. I ran up behind him, grabbed the gun he was holding away from him and shot him. It was a total rush.

For a fan of Thief-type games, this is absolutely a must try. I was concerned about the locomotion being arm-swinger and I've never enjoyed that in a game until now. They really nailed the ability to vary the movement speed to be exactly what you need at any time - you can VERY slowly crawl, you can walk, you can run, you can do anything in between that you need.

Lots of things are done right in the game - checkpoints, jumping, climbing, stealing, multiple paths through rooms, dragging guards, light and sound indicators, throwing items to distract guards, stabbing helmet-less guards, etc.

I just want more content but the building blocks are great! Looking forward to more levels as EA moves along.

I’m not sure what people that are unhappy were expecting. I’ve been a fan of Doom since ‘94 and after about an hour of Doom VFR I have to say I am very happy with this game. I was concerned about lack of artificial locomotion but after 15 mins of playing this I realized that for a super quick moving game like this, teleportation plus dash works amazingly well. Graphics are terrific, frames are stable, lots of great guns and fun monsters. Precisely what I was hoping for. Wish it had deathmatch but for the price I think it’s a must have for any fan of the franchise.

Croteam did an AMAZING job with this port. The full Talos Principle plus Road to Ghenna DLC in VR. The reviews of the flat version really speak for themselves - a fantastic puzzle game. The VR port is the best I've seen yet by far. A ton of options for everything from graphics to locomotion. Beautiful game with a ton of content. Worth every penny.

Amazing game... I'm surprised it hasn't received a lot more coverage. I haven't played a game of this genre before but now I'm hoping to find a lot more games of this type. I'm not even done with the entire campaign yet but I've played for 20 hours so far and more than got my money's worth already.

I've been getting very bored with games lately, I used to always finish all my games but in the last 5 years I generally get through about half of the game, get bored, mean to finish them but never do with a large growing backlog. Shadow Tactics has captured my attention like no other game in a LONG time. It draws me back day after day and I'm not at ALL bored with it. I can't wait to finish it and plan to immediately start a new playthrough for a HUGE number of rather tough sounding badges.

I haven't cared about achievement in games in way over a decade. The optional badges in Shadow Tactics that are awared for intentionally handicupping oneself to achieve very specific set of goals that is different on every map. Accomplishing these sounds like a fun yet very hard challenge that I really want to tackle.

I didn't care for the game personally. Very narrow dark hallways that all look the same. Repeating rooms (dungeons are procedurally generated). In the four dungeons I tried, I found no enemies in three of them but saw a bunch of rooms that repeated. For people who love to grind a lot, this might be a positive thing. I'd rather take quality over quantity so this one's not my cup of tea.
