Got this in the Humble Bundle for next to nothing, not expecting much. However, if you can get past the fact that it's often annoyingly cute, it's actually a pretty darn good game. Combat is the right mixture of challenge and difficulty, and it's very satisfying to finish off that long combo. Combat is all combo-based, and you have to learn to chain your attacks to keep the flow going. Graphics are gorgeous. Lots of little things impressed me, like the mercantile system, crafting system, etc. Frequently humorous - the nod to the merchant in Resident Evil 4 was good for a laugh.
Simply a good game overall. Wish I could murder the deer and bunnies though.

Seriously, if you haven't played Mount and Blade yet... you have failed at life.
One of my favorite games of all time. It simply never gets old - CAN'T WAIT for the second one.

One of the only games that makes me laugh out loud every time I play it. Wonderful game, great for all ages. Giving someone a flamethrower to kill a single bee and then watching them burn down the entire level never gets old.

To begin, this game is a mess. However, it's in Alpha, and the producers are working very hard.
Describing it is difficult - You start off with nothing but a sword and a pair of pants. Literally anyone can kill you at the beginning of the game - most of your first hours will be spent scavenging off of corpses or running for the safety of towns.
Eventually, you can build your own town, and the nature of the game completely changes. It becomes a sort of Age of Empires mixed with the Sims. You'll need to keep recruiting people and assigning them jobs - you'll need miners, blacksmiths, warriors, medics, scientists. Eventually (and I mean VERY eventually) you can wage wars agains the other factions, destroy bandit camps, and become the ruler of the desert. If you've ever seen six-string samurai, you'll have an idea of the setting.
The soundtrack is pretty amazing, especially given the homemade feel of this game overall.
Despite all of the problems, this game is addictive, and so original that it's hard to stop thinking about it in your off-time. If you're one of those people who doesn't mind unfinished games, dying all the time, and frequent crashes, I'd recommend picking this up. Even considering the somewhat high price tag, you'll likely put enough time into it to make it worth it.

Need I say any more? Completely broken. No fixes work. Have never played a second of this game.

It's COH1 with a line-of-sight mechanics and a few other mechanical upgrades. Gameplay is smoother and more balanced than the previous version, but it's hard to find an online match.

I can already tell that this is gonna be my new Binding of Isaac.
Super fun, can't recommend enough. Get ready to die a lot.
