It's.. okay? Certainly a competent game, with an amazing soundtrack, and some of the fights are interesting in how the developers manipulate what's going on.. But.. I don't know. There's just something missing. Characters, probably. Yeah, they're all unique in design, but most of them are one-note write-offs that you barely get any development time with. So when it comes down to caring about these people, you just don't, because you hardly had any time to get to know them. I'd say the only character I really gave a crap about was the Blue Gnome, and that's because he spends the entire first part of the game with you. All of this culminates to such a bittersweet ending because the game treats these characters as if they're great friends of ours now but did nothing to earn it.

So, to top it off, great gameplay, great music, but a story that really thinks it has you a lot more hooked than it actually does, as a result of lackluster characters. If I could give this a maybe, I would. But I'll thumbs it up because why not.

THIS IS WHAT I WAS WAITING FOR!! Do yourself a favor and pick up this game if you have ANY interest in choices matter game-making, unique mechanics, and SUPPORTING PASSIONATE DEVELOPERS THAT KNOW HOW TO TELL A DAMN GOOD STORY. NotGames, you have earned a customer for life with this product, and I'm going to be eagerly watching for everything this company creates from this moment on. Ever since I made a discussion post long ago since the game had just come out in EA, and reading your wonderful response, I've been waiting for the full release to fully immerse in the story, and I can say without a doubt that you have met my expectations AND EXCEEDED THEM in ways I could not think possible. Every single one of those actors needs to be commended for an AMAZING, and CONVINCING performance, and you developers need to be put in a spotlight in the likes of Hello Games. THIS is what gaming is all about, this right here. BUY THIS GAME, you won't regret it.

This game is an immense amount of fun to have either by yourself or with a group of friends! Ignore 80% of the negative reviews, as those are just from morons who review bombed because they didn't expect such an overwhelming number of people playing on day one.

Get it! It's backed by caring developers who want to add continual content to a game they put their heart into. :)

Can't beat the first siege because I can't babysit my braindead soldier allies. They all die. Game Over because I dont have enough men. Waste of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money.

This game, while really good, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me up, man. They have some strong messages about rape, child abuse, and self-sacrifice in here. It was not what I was expecting going into this.

That being said. Buy.
