Infuriating deadlock.

Its one of those games where you are punished for doing badly, which in turn makes you do even worse. I have a settlement doing well, then simply out of no where, no herbs and ALL of my penguins fall sick, as i desperately try to build more herb collectors and build more coolers to stem it but now my reputation has fallen so low that im no longer considered a "City" so i can't unlock new buildings that would solve all my problems.

I hate to write this as it seems like such a fun game but has such a clear lack of balancing which leaves you forever in this deadlock of under reputation but unable to bring it up as the problems which are coming up are CAUSED by the lack of better buildings which i can't unlock because the low reputation. The cycle continues. Great game, NEEDS BALANCING. Can't therefore recommend at this time.

Top game! Brings a fresh new feel to tower defense/RTS titles. Definitely one to pick up if you like building a fortress!

A very simple game, just you walking around checking out this island. Fantastic soundtrack, gets even better when you jump in the volcano.

Yeah its pretty good, fairly solid strategy.

Good fun but hard to recommend!

This game involves essentially driving a car around, looking for fuel, oil, water to keep the car going and surviving. Everything else is secondary.

The controls do take a quick second to get ahold of but feel natural over time. The world is "Procedually" generated meaning you'll discover random stuff at each random location. This is fairly interesting but after a few buildings, i feel as if you've seen 90% of whats on offer. In terms of enemies and other living things i have seen about 6 million rabbits and nothing else in my short play through.

The game seems fairly bare bones at the moment but has real potential to be a lot more fun.

I've really enjoyed my time in this game and after nearly 200 hours i can tell you its deep level of micro-management may appear daunting at first but with a few tutorials you'll be right on your way to conquering europe.

This game can be difficult but with varying levels of difficulty you can always chop and change what works for you. It really does allow you to re-imagine how the events leading up to and during the war in your own way. All countries are playable and have their own benefits and set backs! Jump in and give it a go, i recommend!

Overall gotta say get this game if you don't mind throwing yourself at some tutorials to get you started off right!

This is a difficult review to write.

First of all i like the game. The aesthetics, gameplay and features are exactly what im after in a game. Sandbox survival with a sense of progression and building.

But after 37 hours after ripping my hair out constantly at completely un-resonable deaths i am left wondering why bother going any further. The developers need to add a "easy/baby mode" for people like me that want to just enjoy the game and not have to fight every mob like a boss from dark souls.

On our way to the 2nd boss (one of the easiest so im told) after sailing for about 15 minutes, we walk into a village (in the dark forest) and immediately are ganked by 8 dragurs that smash my shield down and one shot me, how is that even fun? How is that balanced?

Honestly these issues may lie with me just being "terrible" at the game, but with hundreds of hours experience in similar titles and an accumulative 37 hours in this game and some of the best gear for that stage and a full stomach, it doesn't really make any sense to me how you face these foes effectively.

Please balance difficulty for less-tryhardy people like me so i can enjoy the game again.

This is a pretty decent game. The fundamentals are there and im sure it would be fun enough playing with friends a few times. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like anyone plays online so playing against bots isn't really quite fun.

Absolutely love this game!

So this game is in early access and it does show in some minor ways but for the most part the core of the game is there and i believe it to be worth the money, even in its early state now. There are some gripes i have, but they are minor and not game-breaking from my experience.

The team working on it seem to consistently update with hotfixes and content, which is ideal as you know there will always be more to check out later on.

Overall i do recommend this game, it looks good, plays well and its core functionality is brilliant, the only faults i can find is poor AI pathing, slight graphical issues and other minor things.
