Only got 4 hours so far but having a blast with the game. The devs took what was amazing in Sniper Elite 5..and didn't do what most devs do. They didn't try to fix what wasn't broken to begin with. THANK YOU! If you liked Sniper Elite 5, I'd be very surprised if you didn't enjoy this. It's not 100% perfect but I wouldn't expect it to be. We've ran in to a couple bug, all are pretty minor and some are kinda funny. Performance is pretty good..my friend is having a bit of a performance issue but I think it's maybe a memory leak with certain settings and that's something that'll get fixed before long. Overall, I'd give it a solid 9/10..only ding to the score being some new game bugs and slight performance issues, other then that..very VERY solid game and 100% worth the money if you enjoy a good story and fun combat.

Edit: Time played as of this edit is about 15.5 hours. I've completed the campaign and there are a few issues I've come across that I'm not 100% happy about. The levels do seem a bit small compared to SE4 and SE5. I do hope that with DLC's for this game that come in the future that the devs open up the maps and give us much more expansive areas. I would also say that while the voice acting is pretty good, one thing that does kina get on my nerves is Harry when I pick up an SMG..the voice lines for it are honestly, a bit annoying to hear over and over and over. Like..yea Harry, I know the SMG is loaded..the guy I just put a bullet into that dropped it was shooting at me with it. I would still say this is a pretty good game though it is kinda short and we've ran into a handful of funky bugs though I'm sure those will get sorted out.

I cannot in good faith recommend this game right now. There are countless bugs and glitches that my friend and I have come across in 38 hours of playtime. These bugs range from game breaking to strange. Few examples. We've had machines and attachments (combine headers) clip into the ground randomly, we found that Rice Fields in multiplayer can't be replanted, grass not regrowing, contracts not being able to be finished due to bugs with machines or the contract itself (delivering the required items and it not being enough to finish the contract), glitches with hit boxes on machines, trees, buildings. Issues with removing a building and not being able to build in that place anymore. There are countless others we've ran into and it's mind blowing to me that the game was released in this state. They never even tested multiplayer it feels like. On top of all the bugs, the optimization is horrid..my friend has a 3070 Overclocked and struggles to keep it at 60fps. Some aspects of the game are very pixalated and it feels like the game is struggling to render trees, grass and crops. We also found that Tire Deformation doesn't work in multiplayer for whatever reason. Contracts feel pretty close to pointless to do and honestly, the new system they use for them sucks. The menus are also horridly designed and there's a serious lack of machines compared to FS19 and FS22. This is just a handful of the issues we've ran in to so far...it'd take me a good hour to list everything.

In terms of the good things, the game is pretty (when it renders correctly and isn't a slideshow), the sounds are great, the new textures (when the render) are very good. The animations on the animals are great. The water drops on things after you clean them or it rains is really good.

In conclusion..this game CAN be good but it's a very VERY long ways from that and the lack of patches this far into release is just silly. We've heard almost nothing from Giants on the laundry list of problems with the game at the time of writing and honestly, I don't understand why. If they think for one moment that this launch was a success..they are fools and need to step up to the plate here. Transparency in game development is something that as a gamer, I expect from a dev team and I think I can speak for the majority of gamers, we expect that yet we've heard nothing. Will this game be a good addition to the franchise, I think it will..but it's a very long way from that and I really wish Giants would take this phrase to heart, "If it isn't broken..don't fix it." There were a lot of things in FS22 that worked great and for whatever reason, they changed them for FS25..and it was a huge mistake to do so. If you're a fan of the Farming Sim franchise, give this game a bit of time to cook..it needs at LEAST 3-6 months of patches containing bug fixes, balance changes, system changes, items added to be worth the $49.99 price tag. In it's current state, I wouldn't even spend $24.99 on it. *shrug*

I've been playing this game for years off and on. I really don't understand how this game gets such high reviews when it's such a buggy disaster of a game. The devs take 6 months or more to ever even consider fixing issues. One of the bugs that caused me to quit the game the last time I played was due to a sound glitch with wolves that if you were in a multiplayer game, the host would hear a wolf, you wouldn't and then more often the not, when the wolves came into view and the people connected heard the wolf, the host would instantly crash to desktop. After dealing with that and the devs refusing any claims that there was a problem, they finally came out almost 9 months later saying that yes, there was a problem and "fixed it". Came back today, played for an hour. In that time, my friend had 1 crash and his huntermate had a bug with a black screen twice..which has been noted by other players as far back as December of last year. Bit later, my huntermate froze on me..went to fast travel to a lodge..fell through the ground and had to force crash my game. Friend is also having an issue where he can't even travel to his trophy lodge..gives him an error. The devs have GOT to get it together and fix this mess of a game. At this point, I'm gonna just uninstall it again and go back to Classic..game doesn't crash on me all the time.

As someone that's played hundreds of hours of FS19 and loved every minute of it, at this time, I can't recommend the game right now. It's actually a bit tough to make a review like this but there are a LOT of things that just don't impress me. The devs talked about higher fps ingame..yet we're still locked at 60fps even with v-sync off. They boasted about having 400+ vehicles and tools in the game but it feels like they gutted a lot of the brands down to 3-4 items that had a much bigger presence in FS19. Seed usage when it comes to planting grass is WAY too high..a field that's just a bit over .5ac took over 4000L of seed to put grass in it. The Silos that require the conveyors..biggest pain in the butt I've had to deal with so far. They don't even stay put when you park it. There's a handful of other issues I have and I just don't feel like this game should of taken 3 years to develop when they didn't really add anything huge other then rocks and new sounds and textures for things. Maybe if they work out some of these issues down the road, I can recommend it, but I'd give it time to cook a bit more before spending the money on a copy/paste of FS19 with a few new textures and sounds.

First off..yes this game is old. It's been out for a very long time, but..despite the age of the game, it's by FAR the best hunting game out there. That being said, the game isn't perfect by any means. Yes there are bugs, yes there is micro-transactions but this game is no where near pay-to-win. For the people that have posted reviews saying the game's pay-to-win/pay-to-play..sorry, but yall don't have a clue what pay-to-win is. Game's like World of Warships or Black Desert Online..those are pay-to-win. There is only a couple things in this game that you can buy that you cannot get with the ingame currency..and none of those items have a major influence on the game. They do not give you a huge advantage over anything else and to be honest here, what are you really winning? If you aren't into the competitions, what are you winning? There is no premium in this game, no bonus for spending money, so please..stop saying this is pay-to-win.

Next thing is the fact that it's free..there's no subscription to hunt a certain animal or place..it's all free. Again, yea there are some bugs..but they are working to fix them as fast as they can and even with the age of the game, they are still producing updates for fixes as well as new items/content and they do events for holidays. The game is not only fun, but it's relaxing to play..it can be a bit hard to get into when it comes to the huntermate but once you learn how to use it..there's tons stuff to hunt. Give the game a try, it's worth it and if you do decide to spend a bit of money, it helps to support the dev team.

First off, this game is fun. It has a lot of stuff to do and there's a TON of room for development down the road. There's a ton of things the devs could do in the future to expand the game including adding co-op which in my opinion, would take this game to a whole different level of cool. That being said...I cannot currently recommend the game in it's current state. The game is brand new and while yes bugs are to be expected, the number of issues in the game as of the time of this review make the game literally unplayable. There was 1 hotfix patch done yesterday that fixed a number of bugs, but in turn, it introduced tons more.

I don't like adding to negative reviews but right now, the game is just not playable. One bug I'm having makes it so when I try to haul in a Deepline, the game freezes up. Can't move the boat, crew, nothing. I have been speaking with devs this morning on these issues and they are requesting anyone who is having problems to join their discord and post bug reports. As of this morning, they are collecting savegame files from players to try and get out a fix for these issues asap. If you are looking to buy the game, my advice is to wait a bit. Let them put out some patches and see how things go. If they are able to fix these issues and start showing us as players that they can keep putting out patches that don't completely brick the game, then there's a very good chance a lot of the negative reviews will be changed.

After playing this game for over 100 hours..the only thing I can say good about it is that it's better then the free to play version only because it doesn't cost $100 to buy an unlimited licence to fish Mississippi. Now..that being said, do NOT buy this game. There hasn't been any updates on it since Dec. The developer AND the publisher have both gone silent on the future of the game. There hasn't been any bug fix patches, no updates for new content that the f2p version is getting. If you already own the game, do NOT spend money on it. I would honestly love to see Steam get involved here and remove the game from the store along with all the DLC and keep them off the store until the devs and publisher agree to resume development of the game. There are hundreds of people on the game's discussion forum asking/begging for something from the devs and publisher yet we're ignored. I do not recommend this game nor do I recommend ANY of the DLC. I wish I could praise it..but I can't.
