I review what we received as asked in game description.
It doesn't feel like Gothic. Project manager should definetly try and play it and keep key features of original. Gamplay is too clumsy and unresponsive, graphics are too sharp. Soundtrack doesn't fit Gothic atmosphere. Too many cutscenes.
The only thing that reminds me of Gothic somehow are first cutscene, exchange site, scroll and Diego character. If this is way you want this game then forget about Gothic world and lore and make a new game.

Best in the market either for casuals and competitive players. Complex swordsmanship mechanics which can be countered with casual dirty tricks. Time to kill is fine and you can balance it with your build either way.

If you just want to chop from time to time you can do it.
If you want to duel and fight for being the best you can do it.

If there would be campaign mode like M&B one or just a world map like in H&G it would be overkill.

If you're going to play war mode, play US or don't play at all. War mode works like charm in terms of simulation. Axis can't win which proved players of american faction while they decided to change sides for one war cycle. All thanks to "underdog" mechanic.

I won't recommend because devs are ignoring what happens in war mode which is always won by US side. If it's it purpose change name of it from war to US winning mode or remove it because it's pointless. By ignoring facts developers shows that they don't care about if you have fun or not. Game itself is grindy but fun to play.
