Tried to like this game, but feels awful to play. It's just as sluggish as the first. Reset my character's stats twice to try new builds, but felt just as bad. Farmed vigor for about an 1 to upgrade my weapon, but felt just as bad.

There are also parkour areas, but for how you move, it's infuriating.

Overall, just feels bad. Go play Dark Souls/Elden Ring, Nioh, or Lies of P. Don't waste your time.

Path of Exile really is the best free to play game out there. They want nothing from you but an amazing experience which is why they release a new expansion every few months. They do this to grab new players attention and to give veteran players a reason to return to the game. With their new expansions they usually also release new skill gems which give players another reason to return because of the amount of experimenting and gameplay they can get out of it. Here is a few pros and cons I have of the current state of the game, which at the moment is in the Delve League.

PROS:
-A new experience to the game every few months with their 100% free expansions.
-Not pay to win. However, I recommend spending money on things such as extra stash tabs and what not. But totally optional.
-Amazing voice acting and sound design.
-An overhaul of the textures recently got added
-Fun to experiment with the skill tree and how skill gems manipulate one another.
-Great amount of gameplay even after you beat the story.
-Fashion can be good even without microtransactions. (They release updates to certain uniques giving them a 3D model that looks like their 2D art).
-Released support for custom item filters (change what items drop and how they are dropped).
-Great community for trading items through their currency system.
-Active game developers who listen to their community either from videos or the forum.

CONS:
-A lot to learn for newcomers.
-Lower level bosses can be harder than higher level bosses.
-Having certain bosses destroy your certain build (Can be annoying but grouping in a party can greatly help this).
-Huge skill tree that can overwhelm newcomers.
-Evasion is (imo) unreliable.
-Expensive red maps that are corrupted in a way that totally counters your build (reflect phy/elem). Making you have to sell it or trash it.
-Some modifications (such as accuracy) seem worthless.
-Doesn't give a hint about the trading system so newcomers that don't know about it may throw away or sell certain expensive items or currency.
-Hours of grinding they may turn out worthless (this one is more based off of experience).

I probably missed some on both sides but still it is a game I would highly recommend. For those looking for a fun, diablo style game that is free (to some extend) and has a growing fanbase thanks to their amazing expanions which they release every few months. It seems I always come back to the game when I see an amazing new system they implemented that I have to check out and put 100 more hours in. The game isn't easy, but can be very satifying when you finally get that certain unique you wanted or get a random exalted orb drop. The Delve expansion is by far one of my favorites that they have released in a while. Exploring the mine and searching little areas with nice rewards, but with monsters and darkness nesting there making you always ready for a challenge.

Opening Cinematic alone should make you love this game

-No new enemies, only more health
-Last boss battle was a joke
-Not worth 30 dollars, 15 at max
