its fair to call this early access. and it should be. hardly close to finished. I think it will shine after some time though just not right now.

this game has an FPS lock on me at 30 frames and its pissing me the ♥♥♥♥ off.

I like it, however, i justify the price only because I want to support the development.

The optimization is so atrocious and it is pretty bare in content. They warned this though and have a roadmap so i expect to see these addressed.

I waited for this since its first announcement. I think its excessively expensive for what it is right now and nearly unplayable. I do like the new UI and engine and quality of graphics. The optimization is really what hits the nail in the coffin. I recommend it for anyone who really waited for this and are understanding the dev team could use the support.

underground vibes. some things don't make sense, like how you wont be able to get any money without going to heat 5 at night, dodging cops every block. Or that you still have to pay for palace edition cars in game, or that the handling is very polarized. But I like it. It is new, colorful and everyone with a negative review expects it to be a semi realistic, over the top game with a budget like Forza. Go in with an open mind, otherwise keep your shallow over-expectations to yourself. Criterion is back and unfortunately that sets development back. This a fantastic start. If you don't like it, don't play it or refund it.

Personally the new animated style makes me like the game more and doesn't make me relate it to a more realistic game. I haven't found a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ moment yet. However, having a rapper no ones heard of represent a game and then have zero interaction with the story is kinda stupid.

I play iRacing a lot. ACC when I want a break. and this when I want to drive my dream car. The physics in tuning and such are by no mean close to the real deal and if you go in knowing that this is an arcade sim then you will enjoy this more than most other racing game out there. There are some aspects that are realistic which is why people refer to this as a simcade. It is a really good hybrid you can jump in and out of and not worry about having to practice, sit down behind a wheel for a half hour to do a 45 min race like in iRacing and the driving physics are solid enough you dont feel like your playing some janky NFS game or the crew. While its multiplayer stability is still broken and Im not going to pretend that its an easy issue to fix, this game is the only one in 2021 to not flop on launch along with Halo infinite and it deserves all the positive reviews it gets.

Odessey was too hyped for its release and was garbage with a lot of features missing that people asked for and the devs, for some reason, said no. Odessey runs a bit smoother now and i do like being able to walk around on FPS aspect. but without interiors of your own ship and no word on them it hurts they would release Odessey like how it was.

This was a piece of crap on day one. Now? is it the crown of GT3 sim racing. iRacing is great and all but these guys really studied the GT3 style of racing and tracks. They take the edge for this class. I don't have many hours but I will say it has come a long way. It is amazing.

Satisfactory and factorio shook hands with orbital mechanics reminding me of stellaris. Simple yet different color schemes to make the game feel alive. STACK BUILDING and the best part to me is the small details like the item colors and shapes on transport belts. I wonder if theyll add the penrose sphere when the game is finished *hint hint*
