You thought Origin was bad and now EA decides to make a more broken one with EA Apps, might as well boycott their games at this point

I don't recommend the game at full price

Clunky combat (There is a hard limit on combos)

Ranged weapons that canonically could one shot most mooks have been nerfed for "balance"
(Yes you unicorn fans who hope to one shot a zaku with a beam magnum won't get to do that)

Story is pretty short with only up to 7 chapters, each chapter having 3 (6) or 5 (10) stages
[brackets because stages are actually two set pieces with break episode and true episode]

If you played SD gundam generation, don't expect a full retelling of the gundam series present in the game
the stage jumps from various flash points of gundam lore.
[TLDR: its kinda what happens when bandai gave the interns, make a game that sounds like srw]
[PS: SRW still has better writing than this at least and designs.]

The new campaign offers a new situation whereby you are forced to perform political actions which may or not end your ass.
Basically, a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ empress Jia Nanfeng plans to bully you until you get an army to burn her tower to the ground.

Unlike the base campaign however, the Jin Empire is still strong economically and militarily so don't expect them to roll over like the Han, because the JIn will invade, take your kids, kidnap your wife and to pretty much behead them.

Finally the hearts and minds mechanic basically you can earn bonuses and prestige by focusing certain moral or decision alignment (spirit - ie kindness / humanity) (Mind - curiosity / Learning) Might (Self explainatory) and Wealth (Act like Yuan shu or Yuan Shao it helps trust me)

TLDR: just get this for the sake of bitchslapping empress Jia Nanfeng its totally worth it maybe. I am still messing in the game and modding so uhh yea.

to those who have been itching to play the elder races. This is definitely the game for you. With better mechanics and overall campaign than warhammy, literally due to the former and the inclusion of habitats.

Fight alongside the Asur (High Elves) with their highly skilled but expensive war roster which will test the limits of your logistics and overall capabiltiy to keep the fight in your favour.

Join the Druchii, as you raid the coasts for slaves and plot your next course to improve your chances of retaking Ulthuan.

If you detest the long eared bastards, feel free to seek the lizardmen. Scaly large scary monsters that can overrun any opposition with their saurus warriors and extremely skilled temple guard. Do consider that they may lose control over the course of the battle.

Finally for all you rat lovers who complained that vermintide does not include playable skaven characters slaughtering humans instead now have the choice of having stormvermin smashing enemy lines while pooling up to a thousand slaves to sink the enemy's ammunition supplies.

TLDR : Campaign is focused around vortex. Conquer territory to increase Vortex Resource. Each race have unique mechanics like warhammer 1. I am an elf lover, don't you judge me. Have a nice day. The asur will see you very soon

No cover system

Removal of suppression system

Animation is crap and seems sped up

In the 41st millennium, there is only war, and plenty of dakka to go around.

Battlefleet Gothic is a great RTS for those who are interested in void combat.
While not completely balanced, the game itself boasts plenty of customization and upgrades as your ships gain experiance and technically renown.

Play as the balanced Imperials, boasting medium to long range combat, with the ability to ram into someone in a jiffy such as trolling the orks by counter-ramming into them then release a large amount of dakka at their face.

Chaos Fleets generally specialize at long range while keeping at a distance

Orks are Orks, its either you know what you are doing, or your an idiot who just decided to be comedy relief as canon

Eldar, those legendary arrogant space elves are back and dancing around the battlefield is fun while enraging your incompetant opponent. Legendary dancing, hit and run and crazy pulsars (Please nerf) (Jk)

While the grind may be too much for some, please be assured that it is always up to the player's skill, attention to enemy ship classification and of course adaptive capability to win a game. It is sometimes not fair but in the world of 40k, not everyone gets to die as heroes.

While I would recommend the game, it needs optimization considering the AI turns late game. aside from that. I want my assembly kit :( Sega you bloody hedgehogs better stay away.

Time and time again, Companies and Publishers show how middlemen cause trouble to both the creator and the consumer.

I say SEGA ♥♥♥♥ you, go back to making Sonic the weird blue hedgehog cuz that's what you are spiky, and fast and only for the money.
