If you coming into this expecting Dead Space, then I am sorry to say this is not even close to Dead Space. The thrill, the horror, the unique ways to fight back different enemies non of that is here. You will not feel sympathy nor connection to the main characters of this story that just throws them to you. Unlike Issac who is a simple engineer, has a cause and actual reason, gradually you and Isaac become a bad ass but still be terrified what comes next. Here you are force to believe you are this crazy strong fighter against an unknown virus that takes human host and enhances there strength and agility, and you will gradually hold shift all the time as you do not have a reason to be scare cause dodging is on auto all the time. The combat of this game is fun, for maybe 20 minutes, but then it gets repetitive and boring. Left, Right, Jab, Left, Right, Jab, Repeat Repeat and Repeat until they are dead. Never do I feel like some of my Deaths were deserve when you are forced into a corner and surrounded. Some enemies spawns are questionable as while you are moving through a tight space, an enemy would jump in front of you and half the screen is already block by Jacob, good luck seeing. Inventory is a bit too tight, I love to explore and discover areas that are optional and be rewarded for it. However, with your inventory starting so small and some items that are questionably not able to stack, it feels pointless to even be rewarded when you do not have any space and then you have to drop items to make room and by the time u reach the closest 3D printer so you can sell your items to upgrade weapons. You definitely would not retrace yourself back to pick up the drop items or leftover supplies that was 10 minutes ago. I would save your money until Dead Space 1 remaster comes out and/or Resident Evil 4.

Positive things to say is the visuals are fantastic, unfortunately the launch game has many frame and graphical issues, but the visuals and art is amazing. Everywhere you go there just gore and chaos and I love it. If you are here for gore, then you found your game, there blood, pulsating eggs, some sort of fungus that the virus spreads, its all good. Cannot forget that the death animations are impressive, that's if you buy the Season Pass, which is weird marketing decision to lock unique death animation behind a season pass.

Overall, if you want brutality go buy God of War Ragnarok, you want gore then get Scorn, if you like horror then you gotta play Resident evil 2 and 7. Callisto wants to be all that but it just ruined by the repetitive combat, weird decision behind lock content, and not being scary game.

I recommend playing this game yourself without watching any youtubers! Don't spoil yourself, buy this game, support the developing team, and enjoy a once in a life time journey.
Most would agree u need to get a strong computer to play this game, but even so the feeling, the art, the exploration still in there.

P.S. I realise many say its just like its succesor Journey, I can not really say much since I never played Journey. I would want to play it if it has the same feeling, but I hate to buy a PS3 just for one game.

OK so I've been playing for so many hours straight and I have to say I was to excite that I couldnt stop to write a review xD

Bad Reviews:

-bugs of course do exist
1. the audio will sometimes start staticing during long cutscenes, usually the long ones
2. some characters voices bugs out and have other character's voices, but last for a little bit

-repetative for a while (you have to play to lvl up and will get better skills and awsome finishers by the time u have everything you probably play for a lil while long and stop playing, if you got a friend or siblings to play with I recommend it)

- PS3 port (lol)

- No Online Multi



Good Reviews:

- PS3 port (runs great and i have not been corrupted yet and graphics is NOT important kids!! there is berley a slight difference between PS4 and PS3)

- Leveling system feels rewarding

- You do not have to repeat in order to continue, you will recieve great rewards if you do awsome, so be awesome

- the battles feel right, challenging, decent amount of time, and awsome

- X-box ONE controllers are supported, 360 supposibly as well, maybe any controller as long as you have it connected before launching game (I have Windows 8)

- The balance between your Crew is there. no one has to be left behind (such as luffy being lvl 25 and sanji lvl 1) they can be upgraded with coins you achieve from challenges, or Berries (Money) you gain from chaining with your crewmate(s) or chest

- Recommend playing Hard mode for a better experience (I've gotten A's and S's so far :D)

- frames runes awemazing at 50-60 frames or more, I have everything max with my desktop being a 3.2 GHz and the recommended says 3.4

- You re-experience the Adventure of luffy's time when he met every crew and bosses
