The Genesis 2 map is pretty great. Aesthetically pleasing and has amazing access to resources. Now to the bad. The missions are a COMPLETE dumpster fire and mostly unplayable even today, years after the release of the map. It is CRIMINAL that wildcard released them and then tied Stryder taming and the boss fight to them. If you are a masochist, go do the missions.

Super fun game! Cute characters, good mechanics in the cult management section. Combat is pretty one note, but so far I haven't grown bored with it yet. The difficulty level seems manageable to me so far, which allows me to enjoy it much more than other games where I feel like I am constantly dying.

Fun RTS! Focuses on a small group of specialized units vs larger battles like in the original DoW and other RTS games like Starcraft. Different, but still overall quite fun.

Great Game! Does Pokemon way better than Pokemon! I played this game first on PS3 years ago. I loved it and had an itch to play it again. The remaster is beautiful. I was honestly amazed by how good this game looks considering it came out originally in 2010. Just shows the art style they chose is timeless.

Game is very Tim Burton-esque with a kooky cast of characters. Lots of fun despite the rather dark story overall. The card based combat is also addictive and I never found that the battles became too repetitive or lost their fun.

Chilling atmosphere. Great music, story, and voice acting!

Really fun game! Steep learning curve however. Can be fun to play more casually with mods if you find it too difficult.

Hands down this is one of my favorite games on steam. I think it would have been really fun if the game offered a multiplayer experience, however it is not needed as the game is so compelling that I am happy to spend hours on end on my own.

The game world is so atmospheric and is at once both awe-inspiring in it's beauty and terrifying. The music contributes to this greatly. The creatures are so inventive and alien, yet also recognizable. The game has hours and hours of content to keep you busy and you are able to completely go at your own pace and take the story in your own way. The building mechanics are simple, yet rewarding and you are able to make some really fun underwater buildings. The vehicles are enjoyable to use and have a lot of utility in the game. The progression can be difficult, but was not overly so as to turn me off. I highly recommend giving this game a chance and diving into a beautiful underwater world.

This game can be punishing, especially starting out. However the overall experience does get more manageable and enjoyable as you progress. The game has some truly amazing concepts and nothing is more fun than taming dinosaurs and using them to reach your own goals. This is the true strength of the game.

That being said if you do decide to take the plunge, note that this game requires a lot of continued attention due to a need to constantly feed your tamed dinosaurs and stop your structures from decaying when playing online. Additionally the game has been plagued with sometimes game breaking glitches. This has in my experience led to a loss of tamed dinosaurs, structures, and important items on MANY occasions. I recommend finding an unofficial server cluster with an active admin who can help out when these glitches arise. Otherwise you may have a very frustrating experience.
