Masterpiece. Everything you've ever wanted out of an Assassins Creed game in feudal Japan.

Requiring a Sony Account after I put so much effort into the game? That is ridiculous and dishonest business practice.

This game is fun, has an engaging story, and puts a unique spin on the survival crafting genre. I especially like the limitations of the crafting system. You can craft survival items, but your not building airships from sticks and leaves. The survival elements are challenging, but they don't detract from the game play. Overall, I like this game and cannot wait for episode 4 to be released.

Early Access Review
The developers of Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord have made great strides over warbarnd. I enjoy all the improvements they have made upon this game since warband. They are constantly patching the game and making updates, so I have confidence the final game will be a complete project.

At the time of writing this review, the game is still in early access. With that in mind, the following is a list of feature that need to either be fixed or added to make the game as complete as warband:

* the mercenary contracts - First, the mercenary contracts need to expire/renew every 30 days like in warband. Right now you have to choose to leave service of a faction and incur the same penalties as breaking your oath of vassalage. (I know there is a mod, but it should be fixed in the base game.

* Mercenary/Faction Army missions - In warband, you were assigned missions/quests to complete by the faction/army leader. This increased the rewards you received while acting as a mercenary (both renown and xp).

* Training grounds XP - You should be able to train your own troops. In warband you can "spar" with your own recruits and train them. This is a feature I would like to see again.

This is all I have to say for now. I hope you find this helpful. Either way I encourage you to purchase the game in early access to support the developers in finishing the game.

This game is full of bugs. I am a huge fan of the Stronghold series, but this game was just awful.
