Opinion: Rough Gem

For a free to play Xcom clone in a modern/alien setting its alright in my opinion.

Bugs: Playable but rough

I would recommend to wait for 1-3 patches , its a rough gem and some of the bugs are annoying (cant speak for the people having problems even launching the game)


Negative reviews etc.:

Dont let the negative reviews scare you away , 80% of them are in my *opinion* pure bs and shouldnt even count as a review , i agree with the ones that do have legit points in them.


Is it Pay 2 Win?: No , atleast not in the early / mid game (cant speak for PVP yet , PVP gets unlocked at a later LVL)

There are 2 ingame currencys , Cash (buyable with real money) and earned with every ingame mission , Syndicate Points (PVP currency for a special PVP shop earned though PVP)

The people with 0.1 hours - 1.0 hours saying its Pay2Win are either straight up lying or wrong a.k.a didnt played long enough or used their brain in the early missions to reach a stage where you win the *easy* grind missions every time with nearly no loss of money afterwards.

The only thing that you can buy with real money is the ingame Cash currency that is used for everything from healing to grenades , better ammo , weapons , troops , armor etc. keep in mind you dont get the juicy OP stuff early in the game even if you would pay for the most expensive pay2win package (extra stuff you get is some grenades , medkits , repair kits , nothing fancy that boosts you above other players in early game) , also early game is singleplayer only.


Everything above is my pure opinion from playing , i dont defend the company or pay2win in any way or form!

I got it because i preordered the Gold Edition but for 14.99€ its way to overpriced (in my opinion).

Tribes and similiar stuff like this should be put on the market for 4.99€ or 5.99€ , i also agree with the other reviews saying its only a reskin.

I still give it a positive review (only because i got it with the Gold Edition) otherwise wait for a Sale or until they lower the Price!

*High serverload after release , they didn t expected so many people*

The closed beta was great and so is the EA , only issue is the 1 mentioned above!

Also i dont understand the bad reviews , not every company got XXL servers and its not the 1. time a company gets problems with high serverload!

Needs some bugfixes right now but afterall its working good , would recommend it for people that dont fear EA games with a very early state.

1, Macht fun die zombs abzuknallen 2. Man muss sich auf vielen maps ammo, medic usw suchen únd 3. es erfordert oft teamwork was dann noch meistens mehr fun macht^^

Ist ein geiles game mit grusel und adrenaline faktor es gibt unterschiedliche gegner und schöne lvl macht jedenfalls riesig fun:))
