holy moly! iam jumping for joy 10/10

This is a great game in terms of puzzles and graphics (let me remind you that the original game was released in 2002) BUT...

This game has terrible balance. Let me explain. I played all the games in the Resident Evil series and always did it on maximum difficulty, which did not prevent me from completing them without any problems. In Resident Evil 0, I very often found myself in situations where I didn’t have a single cartridge in my inventory, and there was an enemy ahead that I had to kill to get a plot item. I had to load old saves and run away from enemies to save ammo to fight an enemy that was impossible to avoid. It was very annoying. Simply put, this game has too little ammo and health kits and too many enemies. To avoid repeating my mistakes, in most cases you need to avoid battles and simply run away from enemies using various tricks. For example, quickly enter the door between game locations at the moment of receiving a hit from a zombie in order to avoid damage. Dude, I want to kill zombies not abuse the mechanics of loading between locations to complete the game!

The second problem with this game is the inventory. The character has only 6 inventory slots and the game does not allow you to increase the size of your inventory (as can be done in other games in the series). Imagine that you need to carry at least one heavy weapon (2 slots) and one light weapon (1 slot). You need 1 slot for a first aid kit, 1-2 slots for plot items. That's it: you're out of slots. There are no boxes in the game to store your items in, so you have to throw your items on the floor and then run back and forth between locations to pick up the item you need. All these manipulations with inventory take up at least a third of the game time! This is incredibly annoying! I know that in their subsequent games the developers abandoned this idea, but what stopped them from solving the problem of the original game in the remaster? All these manipulations with inventory which take a lot of time artificially lengthen the game. A sneaky trick!

If you ignore these two problems then this is a great game for fans of the series.

In my area this game costs about $20, but I don't recommend buying it at full price. If you can get this game at a 50+% discount, it will give you good value for money.

This game is of the Divinity Original Sin and X-COM level. If you like these games, you should definitely play Wasteland 3. Interesting story, lively and diverse world, great gameplay!
