This game is absolutely phenomenal.

I've been playing shooters and specifically class-based shooters since the days of the Quake Team Fortress mod and was involved in several clans along the way in those early days. Keeping true to it's roots, TF2 feels the same and yet has so much more--like wonderfully vibrant, magically unusual hats!!

TF2 is so much more than a simple class based shooter, it's the world's premier Hat Simulator and defies full explanation in such a limited forum as this.

Take my advice--play this game. It's free to play...that is until you're hooked as well. Then you will become a premium member like all of the rest of us have. Luckily it's a tiny investment and well made up for by the limitless hours that one can spend getting gibbed and then marvelling at the wonderful piece of headgear that your opponent is wearing as he taunts over your body.
