This game is a fantastic example of a free to play game and outdoes many full price, $60 titles. Everything, besides many of the cosmetic items, is attainable for free and items can be sold for the in-game currency so technically everything is obtainable without spending a dime if you're very, very dedicated. Gameplay is smooth, action-oriented, and fast. Environments are traversable via a number of ways that are all quite fun, from the acrobatic, ninja-like movement that comes default to every warframe to hoverboards and flight in the open world sections of the game. Stealth gameplay is also an option with additional experience/rewards in missions that incentivize it. Graphically the game looks great, the open world areas are gorgeous especially for a free title and, in the case of areas like Fortuna, can be incredibly immersive.

The primary purpose of the game is to grind up new Warframes/gear and collect everything so, as a result, the game can be quite repetitive. The bulk of the game is in the combat system so you'll be doing that the majority of the time, there are a few opportunities to take a break and do things like decorate your ship or clan dojo which can be fun but for the most part you'll be flying through levels and blasting things. There are numerous opportunities to customize your Warframe and develop a playstyle that fits your taste, each Warframe is customizable with mods that affect your performance to varying levels of efficacy so it can be quite fun to establish and work towards a specific build.

Overall the game is quite enjoyable and warrants a few hours of gameplay, it's completely free so there's absolutely no harm in checking it out and I highly advise you to should you have the spare time and hard drive space.
