A hardcore WW2 shooter without a cringey wehraboo playerbase. Most people are pretty chill. Gameplay has come along way since launch. If you like games like Post Scriptum or Squad, definitely give HLL a try.

Fast-paced, brutal, and impactful. Every death feels painful, and every kill feels rewarding. NWI are among my favorite developers in the hardcore FPS genre. Fingers crossed that a sequel comes out with the same engine as Sandstorm.

Do you like being sent to jail for trying to steal a chunk of bread? Do you like killing Hungarians, looting their belongings, then selling them for a pittance so you can buy some apples? Do you like failing at lockpicking about 500,000 times? Do you want to be beat down in a game world as much as you are in real life?

I joined the Union only to have terrible leaders while my teammates actually had valid strategies.
I joined the Confederacy and had excellent leadership but my teammates wouldn't shut up about their slaves.

10/10 most immersive American Civil War game on the market by a long shot.

I had a Scotsman who was about 4 pints deep lead my squad in a match that lasted at least 90 minutes. Together my squad fought, laughed, cried, and screamed our way to victory. I will never forget when our SL said he was proud of me for "Blowing up those jammy kraut ♥♥♥♥♥ with your bloody piat excellent shot lad."

10/10 Immersive 1st Airborne experience would recommend only play on British servers for added immersion and drunk Scots.
