The atmosphere and story captured my attention despite the bugs encountered. Perhaps one of the most immersive games I've played in a long time. The combat and driving was a bit janky at first, but I've since gotten used to it. The radio stations are pretty baller; the characters and voice acting is also great and really helps slide you into the world.

There are a number of issues, and the reviews tend to suggest many of them. Besides the bugs you could encounter, and the issues with optimisation - After fiddling with it for some time, I can get a stable 45 fps with a 1060 while still keeping a number of settings on high - Here are some I think are detrimental to the overall feeling of the game.

1. Lifepaths
Unlike in Dragon Age Origins, they don't mean a whole lot. I wish they did, but instead they give unique dialogue options throughout the game that can help here and there. But that's the extent of it.

2. Build up
This act was pretty great, and it somewhat set my expectations for the rest of the game. Due to the 'unforeseen' circumstances you're diverted massively away from what would be a really cool end-goal. To become the top-dog in Night City.

3. ACT 2 - Lost Tempo
This act really lost the tempo compared to the first. It felt long, and un-directed and it was in this act I realised that the 'race against the clock' was fake. It did a good job at pulling a lot of the immersion out and making me remember that it was a computer program.

4. STEALTH
Don't stealth, its a waste of time and effort.
I tried at first to be a super-sneak V, but its much faster and easier to just shoot everyone. This might be due to investing a lot into the 'Cold Blooded' perk tree, but then combat wasn't really ever a challenge once I got used to the controls. I'll need to try a higher difficulty.

5. Money
Browsing through all the cyberware you can buy, you'll realise that its all expensive as hell and you need to shift a lot of time to be able to fully upgrade yourself. Want double-jump? That will be 45,000 eddies. Want a cool looking car? 75,000 eddies. Want a better eye implant? 15,000 eddies. I resorted peddling common and uncommon components to pay for some of this stuff.

Good so far, once the kinks are worked out and the rest of the Acts are released. I reckon it will be one of the best RPGs to have released.

This game is nothing like what was promised, or even remotely like the product I bought it for.

Starting out you will be faced with a learning curve that, if you stick with it and look at some guides to help you along the way you will gain a rewarding experiance in playing the game.
Going from a one-man shack to a multi-million then billion pound company in such a short amount of time requires you to expand your company so drastically that it will take you hours to build and understand everything you need to, to ensure success at the absalute best.

The game goes so far in-depth that I can't even play it because I know I will need to spend hours attempting to set up the perfect system for which to build all the software I want. Which incidently, is what you want from a game. Time consumption and absorbption.

It has also fulfilled my own "pound an hour" rule, in which a game is only worth it's price if you can get one hour for every pound spent on it. Which interestingly, this game has given me twice the hours for how much I paid for it.
