- Dr. Crub
Kevin and Connor exchanged bewildered glances, and laughter broke the tension. They both turned to Ralphie, shaking their heads.
“Not what we need right now, Ralphie!” Kevin said, chuckling despite the situation.
With a shared smile, Kevin and Connor moved closer, and after a moment, they shared a gentle kiss, mending their connection amid the chaos.
“Are you okay?” he asked, glancing at Connor, whose expression had darkened.
“I’ve been thinking about our friendship,” Connor said slowly.
“Yeah? Me too,” Kevin replied, feeling anxious.
Suddenly, Connor snapped. In a fit of frustration, he stormed over to Kevin’s scooter and popped its wheels with a quick jab.
“Why would you do that?” Kevin shouted, shocked.
“Because I’m tired of being overshadowed!” Connor roared, regret flooding in.
Silence filled the room, and Kevin felt hurt but understood Connor’s struggles. “Can we talk?” he finally asked.
They faced each other, and after a moment, they moved closer. Sharing a gentle kiss, their connection mended, bringing comfort to both as they embraced their feelings.
“Are you okay?” he asked, glancing at Connor, whose expression had shifted.
“I’ve been thinking about our friendship,” Connor said slowly, his voice low.
“Yeah? Me too,” Kevin replied, uncertainty creeping in.
But suddenly, Connor’s demeanor changed. In a fit of frustration, he hurled a game controller against the wall, shattering it.
“Connor, stop!” Kevin shouted, heart racing.
“I’m tired of being overshadowed!” Connor roared, lunging at Kevin.
In a desperate struggle, Kevin felt trapped, fear gripping him as he realized their friendship had taken a dark turn, and he could no longer escape.
Just then, Connor emerged from the kitchen, holding two mugs of hot cocoa. “Thought we could have a cozy night in,” he said, his eyes bright.
“That sounds perfect,” Kevin replied, his heart racing. As Connor settled beside him, the familiar brush of their shoulders felt charged with energy.
After chatting and sharing stories, Kevin finally gathered his courage. “Connor, do you ever think about… us? Beyond just friends?”
Connor’s expression softened. “I have,” he admitted.
With a gentle smile, Kevin took Connor’s hand. “Then let’s explore that together.”
Their eyes locked, and they leaned in, sharing a sweet, tentative kiss—a kiss that held the promise of countless adventures to come.
One evening, Kevin said, “Let’s host a game night!” He parked his scooter and grinned at Connor, who replied, “Sounds perfect! I’ll grab snacks!”
As friends arrived, Kevin set up a gaming station while Connor arranged snacks, easily reaching the top shelves. They bantered playfully, Kevin defending his skills in platformers while Connor teased him about fighting games.
During a multiplayer round, Connor knocked over a lamp. “Guess I’m all thumbs!” he joked, cheeks flushed.
Later, sitting side by side on the couch, their shoulders brushed. “I wouldn’t want to game with anyone else,” Kevin said softly. “Same here,” Connor replied, their eyes lingering, filled with unspoken feelings.
