I've enjoyed previous games of this genre (Impression-style city builders), but i gotta say this one is the worst I've played so far.

I really wanted to like it on the basis of its beautiful setting, good looking sprite-work and nice soundtrack but some of the mechanics are completely baffling.

My biggest gripe by far, is that events while based on manageable probabilities - are completely unavoidable, and without a large population of unemployed to take up the slack or large stockpiles of spare required goods can fairly easily induce a cascading failure.

Curiously, this game has partially replaced the familiar 'road block' with the tedium of manually defined patrol routes - mind - this is only for some service buildings. Eventually you will encounter the frustrating scenario of an important structure reaching near-certainty of spontaneous combustion while the nearest fire warden f*cks off into the desert.

If like me you enjoy playing these sorts of games on high speed with planning and constructing being done during long pauses - then prepare for the unavoidable and never ending procession of suddenly burning buildings, thieves with bottomless pockets emptying entire f*cking warehouses, and sudden outbreaks of Covid19 *DESPITE* the fact that a quarter of your workforce is employed in the exact buildings that supposedly remedy these issues.

I want to reiterate however that the setting, sprites, and soundtrack are top notch, and i respect that the developers are trying to innovate within the confines of the genre - its just i cant bring myself to put up with this games sh*t while i'm attempting to relax.
