Early Access Review
The first few hours of the game is amazing. The world building and story telling is fantastic. After you progress into the game it becomes apparent that the game has a lot of flaws. The game reminds me of Raft but basically on a train.

Pros:
-Story telling is good. Humor is great but some may find it cringe.

-World building is good. Looks amazing and I hope they'll add more diverse biome later on.

- Interesting events keeps you occupied from getting bored

Cons:
- Item management... I probably spent more time managing my inventory than actually playing the game. I can't count the number of times I had to run to my chest and back to a item drop because of the lack of inventory space. Its nice that they added a setting in-game where you can increase the stack but it still doesn't help.

-Guns. While I like that we can customize our guns it becomes annoying as hell due to the inventory spaces. You can't really tell whether a item is good unless you really break them apart which is annoying because of the inventory spaces...once again fix the inventory management.

-Crafting feels tedious because the inventory isn't shared throughout your base. You have to run back and forth to your chest. Its nice if you assign your pet to do it for you but you can't do it for all stations so kinda annoying.

-Shooting. Shooting is by far the weakest point of this game. The gun doesn't feel great to shoot. It doesn't help that the AI is bad. They got auto-aim plus they open fire at you before you can even see them. Also why the hell does the bullet follow you... its like a homing missile launching at you and you can't dodge it unless your behind cover.

-Animations. I love the animations for this game. They are hilarious but that's only the first couple of times. When you have to watch it every single time it gets annoying especially mid battle. The animations are way too long for some of them.

-Progression. Its really fast at the start but by the end you have to grind a lot. But i'm not too mad about it since the resource for building things aren't that big. It's only the progression towards research that's just insane.

Overall its a solid game considering its early access. Looking at the road-map it seems they tackle a lot of the issue but if they don't fix the item management I'm not coming back haha.

Visuals are amazing alongside the great story telling. The only real downside for me was how short it was not sure if anyone would spend the full price for the game but I got it on sale so I didn't mind the price.

I think overall the game is solid except for some minor annoying controls. The story is okay.

The game has very unique mechanics considering games of this genre like inside, limbo, little nightmare, etc... The visuals and sound design are fantastic.

It's too good to be free. A must play if you're a fan of the portal franchise. Ending was abrupt so i'm hoping there's a sequel???

What an amazing sequel to the first game!
One of the best narrative driven puzzle game out there.

I enjoyed every one of the puzzle. The puzzle this time around were a bit easier than the first game. There were a couple of hard ones in there but it never really left me overwhelmed like some of the puzzles from the first game. I think overall it was a perfect balance of difficulty and creativity. The way new mechanics in this game is amazing; I never felt a dull moment because there was always something new to the puzzles.

There's nothing much to say about the narrative and puzzles. Croteam did a fantastic job on this sequel.

What I thought was the biggest improvement were the star system. I think I spent more time looking for stars than solving puzzles in the first game. Some stars took me a hour or two while I could easily solve a puzzle in a couple of minutes--having to jump on every ledge to see if it was a option was not fun. This time around tho it wasn't a nuisance at all. The stars were pretty easy to find and seemed like a natural progression while solving the normal puzzles. I'm sure a lot of people hated the Pandora 'star-hunt' but I had no difficulty with it considering my habit of looking at every corner and every angle to see if it was related to a star. The Sphinx puzzle was definitely the most enjoyable out of all the star puzzles.

Overall amazing game!

This is a pretty good dungeon keeper game but the humor in this game might not be for everyone.

I would definitely be happy to pay for this game if I could. It's criminal that its free and has this much content.

I'll give this a thumbs up since I somewhat enjoyed the game.

The biggest problem is the lack of content. The game had potential but sadly its abandoned. The gameplay is pretty fun in the first region until you realize that all 4 regions are basically a copy of each other. It becomes really repetitive fast. The assets are all the same throughout the game. Not enough variety in weapons or enemies. The weather mechanic was somewhat nice to see by the end but not much else is added.

The town management is somewhat enjoyable but the interface is what ruins it for me. I DO NOT WANT TO PRESS ON EVERY DRAKE FOR THEIR CHARMS. Not sure why they thought it was a good idea.

If they polished this game a bit more and added more content, this game would have been great but at this state its just alright.

While I enjoyed the game this is a bit underwhelming compared to the first game. I enjoyed the overall narrative and plot but some of the gameplay moments felt really forced and broke immersion from the plot. At a certain point it felt like rinse and repeat. While it got repetitive I still enjoyed the combat far more than the first game.

What really broke the deal for me was the narrative pacing. Don't get me wrong I like the conclusion and it seems logical but it just felt really off how they paced the whole game. Definitely play the first game if not you'll be confused most of the game. I'm mixed on the game but I would still say its a good game if you're into narrative driven cinematic games. Plus the visuals are just dead gorgeous. Wish they would have optimized it better tho... like I said mixed feelings
