So far, it's a pretty fun and enjoyable game. I've only played with randoms online, and haven't had any negative experiences of griefing, and the community is welcoming and friendly.

The matchmaking initially basically didn't work, but they seem to have fixed this now. I haven't noticed many bugs yet, but there are a few occasions where the extraction ship will clip through scenery in the leaving cut scene.

Definitely would recommend this game, and looking forward to seeing what else they add and how the game develops further

There's something about the graphics style in this game that i just adore, it looks really nice and charming to me. I find the game, and the fishing/dredging mini games simple enough, like Stardew Valley, like others have said, but ever so slightly more to it.

There's a nice little element of mystery to it that I look forward to finding out more.

Absolutely cannot recommend this game unfortunately. I love Halo, and the universe, and have played every game apart from Halo Wars 2.

343 have gutted this game, and everything about it. From blatant lies such as abandoning the co-op campaign, constant delays to the multiplayer seasons.

The ridiculous amount of cosmetics that have to be unlocked through various challenges is such a bore, the Halo Reach model of progression was much better. But they clearly want you to pay for these cosmetics, you have to unlock the same shoulder pauldrons separately, or you can just buy them. Which is exactly what 343 want, and is the only thing they want you to do. They want you to throw money at them, without actually giving us any substance to the game.

The campaign is fun, and i enjoyed it more than I enjoyed Halo 4 or 5, so it's at least a step in the right direction. But £50, for a campaign which offers limited replayability is far too steep. If you want the campaign, wait for a sale.

I'm sad that 343 have ruined what was my favourite game series that I've played since childhood. I hope Microsoft realise that this team are not fit for purpose for this game, and move them to different projects and bring in a team that can actually make a good game.

I've had this game since it was available in early access on Steam. I'm glad I've waited until the full release to give a review. This game has been on a steady incline of quality, you can tell the developers are really trying to improve the game and make it fun. And boy is it fun.

This is a game I pop into every now and again and say "I'll just have a quick session of this," and then suddenly it's 4 hours later. The mechanics feel fun and it provides a good but fun challenge. I would thoroughly recommend this game.

Endless fun. Limitless possibilities. It's a roller-coaster of emotions, joy, sadness, anger, excitement - anything and everything.
The workshop and mods for this game add even more possibilities.

Bethesda are getting worse and worse, and this pay walling is disturbing.

I mean, it's Halo on PC. What more could you want?

So all in all I think this game is great.
The combat is fun and challenging
Graphics are great and it's optimised quite well, even my crappy PC can run it on highest settings.
Although I did have a few minor graphical glitches with long black lines coming off of certain things like dead enemies. But it's not that intrusive.
I enjoyed the story, thought it was quite interesting and fun to play through.
I definitely recommend this game, lots of exploring to do even when you have completed the main story allows for more fun and a bit of a replay factor.
I'll probably replay the entire campaign on the highest difficulty this time.

Overall, great game. I would recommend it. It's refreshing to have a solid single player experience in a generation of constant "live service" games. Especially from EA.
