Game has potential to live up to Castle Crashers, and it's probably a great game but I don't recommend it if you were hoping to play this game online. I solely purchased this game to purchase it online co-op and found out about 30 minutes in my play through (by having to click read more in their description) that it was LOCAL co-op. It should be more clear on the mini game description whether or not its online because you can't just imply its "co-op" in the description and have "co-op" as a tag and then the game ultimately becomes a local co-op experience, Instant turn off for me currently, but I'm hoping to come back to it when there is some kind of online feature cause this game definitely has the formula similar to Castle Crasher.

Additionally, the game was super buggy on my first couple of minutes as I was soft locked on the tutorial when the cutscene didn't play at all on the first level (on controller).

TL;DR: Game isn't clear anywhere stating that it was a local co-op experience unless you're actively reading their entire "About this game" when it should have stated clearly somewhere in the small game description and or tags.

First time playing a Fears to Fathom game, and I was a fan of this series by watching gameplay videos of it, and enjoyed the concept of it, but as a first time experience trying this game out, I currently cannot recommend it. Throughout my playthrough, I've undergone multiple bugs that just had to force a checkpoint reset due to the nature of the game.

For Example:

Your character has the ability to drive a car at the beginning of the game, and this may seem like an awesome start having a lot of control with it, however as soon as you crash your car (I promise it was on accident), your car gets permanently stuck to the point in where you have to reset it. I crashed my car two times (One for fun, the other time because some ♥♥♥♥♥ named Kayla Nelson texted me while I was driving, and I crashed because I was texting and driving).

Another bug that occurred was when I had to make a casserole, and I had to take items out of the fridge, but there are some items in the way and I accidentally threw one of the important ingredients and it got lost between my fridge and stove. Had to reset my checkpoint after failing to make food.

In terms of gameplay, I thought the atmosphere of the game was interesting, but it left a lot of question marks to my liking. Additionally, I thought the murderer would be frightening, but the sound the murderer makes when it spots you, he practically does that one cat tiktok meme where the cat just goes "HUH?" and I couldn't help but laugh at how comparable it is to the cat.

Lastly, this game really likes to take your time when the main character needs to take a second to pee just out of nowhere. You could be having your whole tower shut off, and the first thing that comes to mind for your main character is that he needs to take a piss first before anything else.

Overall, the game does have its moments where it does well but it's a nuance to deal with the current bugs in the game.
