Wurm is a game that while older and not as graphically cool as some moderrn games, is unmatched in it's genre IMO. All parts of the land can be terraformed and you can craft and build just about anything you might want. It is not easy however, as it takes time to do these things. If you want to terraform a 5x5 tile area to be flat so you can build on it, it might take you a couple hours of digging depending on the terrain you have to dig, longer if you hit rock. Once done with that, it could take days or longer to build the building depending on the material you use, your skill, and how much time you put in each day.
Once done though, it feels as if you have really accomplished something.
