Who ever thought of making a survival crafting game with elements of Half-Life, SCP and Lobotomy Corporation is a genius.

They did again, just like what happen to Ascend.

Certainly an improvement over it's predecessor

It still has a long way to go before it can surpass Vermintide in terms quality and content but I still recommend Darktide as it will be just as content rich as it's predecessor.

Another Miyazaki masterwork

This game only barely deserves a negative review. After 300 hours I will say the game is enjoyable and great when it decides to work and be fair to the player. If you have 3 other friends to play with I fully recommend it, its a good time. But if you're like me and primarily use quick play its just not worth it. Most of the problems I have with this game are the result of the matchmaking system just not working. You will end up joining games where you're severely handicapped even before connecting to the campaign because the Bot you took control of has already been downed twice, has received max trauma, the randomly assigned cards you're given have no synergy with the team or each other for that matter and their are no more continues. if you're lucky the next session you joined will be on last stage so you can get back to the lobby faster and hope to join a campaign that's just starting so you can get a full game. don't even get me started on the tunnel DLC effects this entire mess. This game is just a slog to play half of the time and the other half is waiting to play the slog.
