A journey of curiosity, persistence and wonder. If there were a greater type of review than positive review I'd leave one.

Truly a magical experience much akin to my first experiences with the souls series. So do yourself a favour, just play the game.

And remember, you can only play something for the first time once. Make sure it's right.

Sadly I don't think I can recomend this. It started off a ton of fun, but there's virtually 0 replay factor given that every character is functionally the same barring a personal combat power and what their super weapon looks like.

In the later hours this game is a total chore to play, an unending grind and micro-management mess that left me bored to tears skipping through agents burning down my lair in the hope I'd be able to finish the game rather than do another bland overworld event.

TLDR; fun at first but a total chore after a couple of hours.

Honestly a masterpiece and the best entry in the series for me by far.

It's recaptured the lost magic of wanting to rush home from school to play games as a kid. What a truly inspiring and incredible experience, I'd recommend this to anyone.

Has it's flaws, but I love it. Favourite entry in the series and can't wait to see what comes next.

Beware, this may ruin the other total wars, there's no going back from dragons and magic.

Despite the earlier bad press of the previous games I found myself really enjoying this game.

The units are very well animated with some fun little details and reactions to what you do, I've spent hours just building a dungeon that would rival the tomb of horrors.

More so, the game has certainly made me chuckle a few times, the narrator, whom I believe is the same as from the stanley parable has repeatedly bashed on the game and spawned in bears to attack a character after they insulted his skills, all in all, good fun.

Now lets see if multiplayer makes it better or worse...
