It's fun, and pretty balanced, but it fails to match other MOBAs in terms of visual clarity. Characters don't have entirely distinctive silhouettes, especially when viewed from a distance with the red glow that enemies have, so figuring out who is who and how to counter has a bit of a learning curve, something that games like Team Fortress 2, Overwatch, and Awesomenauts didn't suffer from. Also, sometimes 3 or more people are using abilities, and there's just a lot of visual noise because of it. Webbing on the floor mixed with an ankh mixed with an AOE attack mixed with an octopus mixed with somebody's ult going off mixed with 12 people running and flying and swinging around means there's a lot of flashing lights and sounds and color, and not a lot of clear and immediate information. I could see this game being very overwhelming if it was somebody's first shooter or MOBA.

I'll definitely keep playing, but at times it does just make me wish I was playing Overwatch 1 again.

Couldn't recommend this game enough, I own at least some version of it on every console or platform I possibly can. I've Been playing for 10+ years, and I'll probably play for 10+ more. Happy Anniversary!

Game is great. Director's cut fixes the boss fights somewhat, and recharging two batteries instead of one like the base game is nice, but I do wish you could disable the missing link DLC; it really grinds the plot to a halt in my opinion, and nobody likes having all their augments permanently stolen 3/4ths of the way through the game.

I love Half Life, it's a fun game that presents a decent challenge. However, this is possibly the buggiest port of anything I've ever played. I often have to utilize noclip, or skip chapters completely, simply to bypass a game-breaking bug. Get the original, you'll have a much nicer time.
