I love it so far. I played 72 hours or so before I encountered what I assume to be a bug.

There are criticisms I could offer, but I believe most of them are related to missing content or early access.

I think this is the game I've been waiting for.

Falllout 4 is a Fallout-themed shooter/ base-building game, not an open-world RPG. I was originally so enthusiiastic about this game's release that I bought a brand new rig to be able to play it. I played for hundreds of hours before I was finally able to admit to myself that, while its production values are very high, it didn't have any of the things I enjoy in playing such games. In fact, the game developer intentionally exicesed nearly all of these staples.

It's really sad that the developer took this franchise in this direction. It was undoubtedly a part of a strategy to make the game accessible to a general audience. As for me, I've gone from loving these games to despising them...or, more specifically, despising the company that made this one.

I will not but another Bethesda game.
