I have the original Substance Painter from when Adobe didn't own it. I have used the og Substance Painter for years. Now there have been many updates since it first came out and so I wanted to see what the new one had to offer. I am very happy with the new SP of 2024. A lot of the plugins I have been wanting to use but could not because my version was so old I can now and it saves me a lot of time from having to go into Photoshop to edit the textures because the old shaders I had didn't look like they did in substance painter when I put them into a game. Now they look in game just like they do in the new Substance Painter. Well at least so far in the games I have export plugins for. I like this new version a lot.
