This game, at first being a crappy horror based game, enlightened me in so many ways.

The tale of a fish, someone who is misunderstood and just trying to find his way in life. Someone who doesn't know what lays ahead for him, even travelling to space to find himself. Little did he know, this would haunt him upon his return.

You see, noone else has legs, he was an outcast. Shunned by the society of the legless. He felt hopeless, even walking away from his problems to no avail. But, upon discovering the village of mops, he learned that he is not so different from everyone else.

And he ran, so so fast he ran. Until he achieved his goal, even fathering a child with the mop who took him in.

He returned home a new fish, one capable of artistic abilities.

That fish was my dad.

After nearly 40 hours I think I can review the game in its current state,

Phasmophobia is a game based on ghost hunting and the evidence gathering involved. You are supposed to play passive and carefully to avoid triggering hunts.

I don't.

I send my happy ass straight into that ghost room, trigger a hunt, and ankle break that ♥♥♥♥♥ back into the after life. I DO gather evidence, but 80% of the time i am taunting the ghost.

I have died 7 times in these 40 hours.

Good game

After only 43 hours of gameplay at time of review, I feel as though I have gathered through some good and bad aspects of Crusader Kings 3.

We will start with the good:

Crusader Kings 3 brings a lot of new and fun mechanics to the table. The major portion for me was the 3d modeling of your character, which makes it more personal when you can literally see the scars and wounds on your character. In CK2, it was not as personal as 90% of the time because you were just able to look at a picture of your ruler.

Another thing I enjoy able CK3 is its simplicity. The game feels much more mechanically fleshed out than its predecessor and is more beginner friendly, while still holding a challenge for experienced players. ALMOST every menu can be accessed from the map screen, which makes navigating the maze of CK2's menus obsolete.

Now onto just about the only bad aspect I have ran into so far:

Paradox Plaza. This has caused me so much trouble than I ever thought it could have. There is a current bug where seemingly for no reason, the Plaza won't work with the game and it automatically signs you out of your account. Even when I would sign back in, multiplayer was unavailable for me to choose. The best fix i found for this was to restart my internet with CK3 allowed FULLY through my firewall.

All in all, this game has a lot of potential out of the gate and I am hopeful for some good DLC releases.

Be me:

Start large scale MP game as England
Never play England before
Immediately unite the Isles because i think thats how its played
Castille declares on Portugal, I join the war to help my ally.
Castille dies.jpg
Take land off France as Castille explodes into nothingness
Go mad with power, eventually getting Anglican.

Good game, would do again

Its OK

EDIT:

After adding another 900 hours, its time I give this game my final verdict.

I have been playing Holdfast for a year straight now, no breaks or anything, every week logging on and playing at least an average of 20 hours a week. With the time I have played, I have seen the following:

- The game explode to over 2,000 concurrent players, only for it to now die down to near 300 concurrent players at the time of this edit (Note, the population of the game spikes between 12 pm EDT and 10 pm EDT, but only up to around 600-800 concurrent)

- The loss of several members of the community, one of which was Jon Snow. The community came together to prove that while we all are disconnected physically, we are all connected in the love for people. This game brings people together, as a proper game should.

- Several regiments have come and gone, including some big name players. This also goes for some select people. The game has slowed down severely on updates, and even though a large one is coming at some point, people do not know when and it does cause the game to get repetitive after about 20 hours.

- The voice spam has gotten so much worse. Yes I know, thats this game's entire meme around it; that the voice chat is usually full of mic spammers and ear rape. But comparing it to when I first bought the game to now, it has gotten much much worse. Definitely something to note if you have sensitivity to noise.

So my final verdict after everything is that this is a game you want to at least try, even if it seems a bit boring at first it has moments where those boring times are worth the fun times. The game has its drawbacks, but that is a natural side effect of being a small dev team and being a niche category of game to begin with.

TL;DR: Cool game, recommend trying.

First time I saw you could make human leather hats, I began delving deeper. Now own a gulag where prisoners die from being overworked.

10/10, would buy 20 copies of just for gulag.

Well, where should I start. I guess I should start from the beginning. Me and my friend wanted to upgrade from civ 5 because it was getting too repetitive. We decided to buy Beyond Earth. I will not say this was a horrible choice, but people should be careful unless you know how to troubleshoot connection issues for multiplayer. We were playing 6 man games until we finished our first one. After that, any time we tried to start a new game with more than 4 people the game would seperate us into different games. With this issue, its a bit of a hassle trying to player multiplayer. After we got it to work, it was an amazing experience. 4 people is the magic number it seems, as we havent had issues after switching to 4. I reommend this game because the issues aren't too much to handle, no coding or anything to deal with. I am just saying, be careful if you expect it to always work for you because it won't.

Recently I received the game from a friend for my birthday. Was having fun and was making lots of money to spend on items. I wasn't watching my money and fell into the red. The bank bailed me out, but at the cost of 11M. I never made that money back so i went bankrupt. Even with that incident, I really like this game and hope the mobile version comes out!
