Does Super Smash Bros. 4 have one of the most progressive rosters ever? I think so. I mean, think about it:

>It has female characters that are actually good: the two best characters in the game (Zero Suit Samus and Rosalina) are female.
>It has ethnic diversity: among the otherwise mostly white cast we have black characters like Ganondorf, Mr. Game & Watch and Donkey Kong.
>One of the characters, Shiek, is of indeterminate gender, possibly transgender.
>The developers didn't leave out otherkins and/or furries - there are plenty of humanoid animals on the roster.
>The roster also has openly homosexual fighters like Yoshi and Captain Falcon.

Seriously, I don't think anyone can argue against the progressive elements of Smash 4's roster.
Good job, Sakurai!
