Nothing but "buy or check this out" ads in the main menu and "Validation Errors" when I win against bots. Don't know what changed since the last time I had this installed but it definitely didn't change for the better.

Any of the dawn of war games is better than this one, even my least favorite one of Soulstorm. Dawn of War 3 just feels way too streamlined versus the other games where I enjoyed stomping around the map looking for extra bits. I couldn't even make it to the Eldar bit due to this game just being way too boring with the heroes also feeling way too generic with me feeling like they tried especially hard to ruin the orks which is a dang shame since they are my favorite faction in 1 and 2, and don't even get me started on the lack of my other favorite faction of Imperial Guard in this game since they could put up all kinds of other silly stuff but they couldn't handle putting in a Baneblade... Overall save your money and just use it to buy the complete 1 or 2 when they go on sale way cheaper than this game.

Depending on what experiences you have had in the past, you may or may not enjoy this game since it is very rng-reliant and crits can add or subtract difficulty randomly in this game which along with the scant information available at the beginning of the game can lead to a lot of save-scumming and a few angry moments. Don't let the above keep you away however since the games atmosphere and how the rest of it works makes it all worth dealing with the above issues, especially since to put it succintly this game feels like a turn-based strategy version of Hotline Miami with the art style and music as well as what story is in the game currently. Another way to describe this game would be as just a fun vigilante simulator where you start off as some guy who decides to crack some heads and progresses into a war on crime that is reminiscent of the Punisher (The good one not the garbage Netflix show one.).

If potential EA changes and the lack of early guidance don't scare you then I wholeheartedly reccommend this game since it has at least enough content right now to make it worth the price of admission.

Matchmaking got at least somwhat fixed and they did an attempt to balance some of the more glaring issues in the game so I will change this to a recommended for fixing at least the biggest complaints I had. Game still probably sucks for new players and new matchmaking reset will cause some probems for a while but at least it seems like effort is still being made to try to improve the game. $4.14 out of $5.

If you want top of the leaderboard everytime just play proxy or aura and crank up the ping to 200 or more.

If you have a dark sense of humor and can laugh at the writing in this game then you will find this to be like a free Binding of Isaac. By no means is this a good game but at the same time it is not a bad game to waste time in if you have nothing better to play at the time.

The intro cutscenes alone for the missions make this worth it although I find it unusual that there is no sob story for the dolphins.

Overall I give this game 2 suicidal orcas out of 5.

I would put this on the same level as American Nightmare as far as being a sequel to a game I liked while also making me wish that they never make another game in the series again because they did such a terrible job with the game.

Got ran off a server because I was camped and killed in various ways by the same cheater. Meanwhile the anti cheat has banned people who just spawned in or were standing doing nothing. I also have so far seen 0 blatant cheaters I reported get banned despite very obvious script and hack usage. So basically looks like this game is a loss.

I also just had 40 minutes of looting reverted because the game decided opening a skin box was going to take 10 minutes. I close the game and reopen and see my inventory was reverted to back when I first logged in earlier today.

The PvE is actually somewhat enjoyable if you can get past broken spawns, overcrowded servers and constant crashes for no reason that can cause you to lose valuable loot.

Overall I can say it might be worth a play if you absolutely have nothing better to do but under no circumstances would I say you should give these people money. They keep claiming that they are "fixing the servers" but after the most recent "fix" I went from a flat 20-30 ping to now I am lucky if I stay in the 50 ping mark. I also have been kicked by the anticheat system from servers for having "unstable ping" when I sat there and watched my ping stay the same. This game also loves to randomly kick from servers with no warning or just not allow you to connect to a server at all, regardless if the population is in the 90s or you are 1 of 3 people on the server. There patch to supposedly fix spawns has not only spawned me near super zeds but has also continued to spawn me right up on other players as well so I would say thats yet another "fix" that has missed the mark. Here's hoping that they actually fix something for a change and also happen to make the supposedly upcoming "Survival Mode" more than just a glorified camping sim with skins like the normal PvP mode.

Apparently the game just randomly decides that you need to reinstall it for no reason. 10/10 can't wait for this game to leave alpha.

Even Modded to hell and back this game is a poster child for what happens when you let the worst members of your community dictate what is and isn't fun for everybody. This game was actually fun when it was super early access a few years ago but then the "Git Gud" squad decided that any and all methods of enjoying this game should be subsequently reported and removed or so badly nerfed that not even mods can fix it. Its a shame too because the art and narration and story are fun but it is hard to enjoy any of that when it basically autoplays itself as you watch the game decide that any and every enemy should just roll the crit train on your ass if you dare try to have any form of accuracy debuff or dodge buffs in play. If you want a game that isn't absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and actually allows you to play how you want give "Iratus Lord Of The Dead" a try instead.
